I brought 2 of my kids to their first PL show this night. They’ve been exposed to the music for over 13 years. Between a new release to kick it off, only 2 album tracks, and the most in your face ‘I’m back! And I do all forms of EDM better and with a live band.’ Statement to end the show; this was the furthest departure from a prototypical PL I’ve seen. I was simultaneously disappointed that my kids didn’t experience what I wanted them to, yet grateful we all experienced a great set that was new and different together. It was a great and memorable night.
