I was posted in Kashmir the temple is pure indigenous Aryan in architecture. Kashmir was the crown of Aryavarta and Kalhana describes it as the crown of Aryavarta and parts of Afghanistan were also a part of Aryavarta. Regions of what is known as Afghanistan were referred to as Ariana (today we have Ariana Afghan airlines) and Arya Desa mostly Central India was also region of Aryavarta. After the advent of Semitic-Islam in the Valley these places were also re-named with Semitic names. Then mighty Aryan Race is indigenous to Northwestern Indian subcontinent and touching Central Asia. This is where the proto-Aryan language split into two similar languages Avestan-Persian and Rig-Vedic Sanskrit. The following is an example of the closeness of the Avestan and Vedic Sanskrit languages: Rigvedic-Sanskrit: abade pantha he ashae, visha anyaesham apantham Avestan-Persian: aevo pantao yo ashahe, vispe anyaesham apantam Translation: the one path is that of Asha, all others are not-paths.
