Off road crv build
Просмотров 2233 года назад
After about 1 year give or take of the Crv sitting in Oaxaca Mexico I decide to take it out. Starts and drives great no issues what so ever. Its crazy how I drove this thing from California all the way to the lower part of Mexico and it made it with absolutely no issues.
LIFTED HONDA CRV GOING UP SLIGHT INCLINE
Просмотров 2954 года назад
Lifted honda crv going up a slight incline not too bad a an automatic little 4 cylinder awd box. The awd system work decent this was a tiny incline the video makes it seem alittle less inclined that what it actually is. Never the less the crv will not rockcrawl anything bigger than a rock the size of a basketball but not too shabby for a Honda.
LIFTED HONDA CRV (mud trail)

It's hard to see but that mud was decently deep.it covered at least half the tire. The AWD system works good in mud and snow.

Decided to make my own lift spacers out of HDPE. Found some pre cut 1" thick and 4" wide hdpe cylinders that fit this job well. Still havent installed yet waiting on some springs and bearing to lift this rig. 1" thick hdpe cylinder www.amazon.com/dp/B00EVCG82W/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_i_asptDb6ND9C7S Next will be lifting this thing 😃

If u swap a jdm engine chances are the you are going to run into a problem of the JDM engine not having certain sensors.Well in my case it was the crank position sensor which I will show you how to bypass in this video. Like and subscribe

I'm not sure what the name of this trail is but its calavera mountain in carlsbad ca
Did you have to add drop links and adjustable arms
Hi, thanks for the video. When you say the white one, do you mean the white one with the red stripe?
Will this work for B16
Its not about the engine is about the car and ecu your staying to..which sounds like your using the obd2 ecu ..most honda guys when you go b16 is because your all motor or turbo which obd1 would be the ecu to use which that ecu doesnt look for the external crank sensor
I have a question, I just bought a 1999 crv and has idling issues when coold, and I also have this error code p1337, does the error code has any relation with the Idling issues or they are 2 separate issued, thanks for your help in advance.
Could be yes
Looks like a lot of fun
All this nice bullshit and he cant even tell us what or how he got hold of the HPDE material What a fucking waste of time.
It worked for me a while back but dizzy went out and out in the new one and I got the code p1336 what could that be
Will it work if I do it for a d15b7 with a y8 head in a 97 hatch I’m useing a ex harness but need to bypass the crank position sensor
Did it work ?
Nice work 👍 can you put a link to the wire cramps? Thanks 😊
Is this what was causing the clunks?
Hello i have guestion for acura integra 96 rs same
What you got
I have b20b
How did you bypass the knock sensor
Lmk if u find out too
Did you change the oil pump?
Hai what is the name if that white round plastic
hey bro this is CRAZY GOOD!!!! pls tell me how i can do my 2002 hyundai sonata
Wheres you get the specs for the spacers? Hole spacing and sizes
Nice can you give details of dimentions of the spacers rear and front the white nylon ones please
What I did I'd take off my old top hat from the stock setup and mirror it on top of the spacer...
Dam after watching that video i think im going to lower the rd1. Does it have enough power for off roading. And Is that one an auto or manual trans?
Its automatic lower it as long as you like it :]
Quick question, I’m about to do this and in all the comments it seems like it’s a 50-50 chance and actually fixes the car from idling funny. If I’m reading correctly is it just people aren’t getting the right wires?
Yes exactly
Control arms are done.
My 98 b20b4 has been idling bad dying no start when hot and no engine light replaced every common issue with no luck today I got a cKP hopefully bypassing it fixes the problem
Hey just curious if this works for you.
The bypass works but I also had a blown head gasket
Its your rear axile noise
What are they called so I know what to order
Did a jdm b20z swap in my 2000 honda crv automatic transmission. I did the bypass trick and i still get a code for p1337. The car runs then stalls out at stop signs and idles pretty shitty. Did this work for anyone else?
Did you snip the wire completely off ?
I ended up soldering the wires and the code p1337 went away. However it still be idling shitty and stalling.
Figured out the problem awhile back. I had the power steering connector and iacv connection switched up.
Can you do this if i got a check engine light cause mine is bad and needs replacement. Wondering if i can by pass so i wont have to and i can take it to pass emission
Yes it should work
im trying this on my 1998 acura,it has a engine from japan in it with no crank positioning sensor, with check engine light on im gonna try it.
How did that go? I have a 98 integra and tried this, but I now get a p1382 code. Which is the cylinder 1 position sensor. Did this happen to you as well?
Thanks im doin that too mine rite now actually
How did it turn out?...
@@Mk-cd1dd turned out great because it happens to have the same wires color on my 96 Integra LOL so it worked out perfect 💯🥳
Helllsss yessssss brotherrr mann 🤘🥳 JDM assss fukkk
Which pins are they ?
Look up obd2a or ob2b (different pinouts)findout which one your car is first Then All you gotta do is join the ckf wires to the ckp wires to fool the ecu is getting signal
Does the hdpe loosen over time? I was thinking if the constant compression make it pressed in and loosen the fasteners.
Nope hold up fine been bout 5 years now
Glad I came across this I’m about to cop a Jdm swap for my crv good looks man
Nice let me know if it works
What’s the details for your lift bro? I like it a lot. Can you dm me for front and back details of your lift kit? Also for the camber. Thanks a lot
OLD MAN EMU SPRINGS ALL AROUND WITH BILSTEIN SHOCKS
THE FRONT UPPER CONTROL ARM IS TRUHART (FLIPPED FOR BETTER ANGLE)
REAR UPPER CAMBER LINKS ARE SPC...GREAT COMPANY...TOE ARMS ARE GENERIC EBAY ARMS
Looks good bro
Thank you sir
I like to see when you guys are working on it....just talking and talking.......Boring!
Damn, your video must be driving up the price of these things or something because they are more than twice as expensive as what you said.
I just seen that.that sucks
Nice video was the car running weird with the cel? Like hesitate at all? I have a b20z2 with that same code and my car runs super funky in low rpm smh
Yeah it would studder here and there sometimes it wouldn't start.
@@Mk-cd1dd interesting I’m having a realllly bad problem with my car hesitating reallly bad then catches I replaced the clutch drove a tad better I think I need to change the ecu, dizzy and possibly the trans smh
Ecu fixed all my problems!!!!! Swapped with a chipped ecu
What chipped ecu u use?
@@fishinwj.v.5542 dam I don’t remember this lol but I usually run a chipped p28 I believe when I was having issues I had a chipped po6 but some resisters burned out
I did this and it did not work.
Did you figure it out?
Will this cause the swap not to start at all if this is not done?
@@albertsantoro2921 the swap will start it just will not run right it'll be very choppy
@@Mk-cd1dd it was the splice connectors noy making contact. I just soldered it
I’m getting another code after doing this, did you have any issues besides the connection?
Looks sweet. How’s the power with those massive tires?
What’s the specs on rims and tires bro ? Looks hella clean
I HONESTLY DONT REMEMBER ILL HAVE TO DIG DEEP ON THAT ONE BUT I KNOW THEY WHERE FOR FORD RANGER MAYBE 15X7 OR SOMETHING...THANKS ALOT
I have a b20b swap into a 99 CRV and under 2,000 RPM I have no throttle response at all like it barely wants to move. Are these the symptoms you were experiencing?
Most of the time its a no start symptom but I can see a non throttle response
ONE OF A KIND out there for sure ! Nice build bro ! VIVA LA RAZA🇲🇽

How did you extend the studs so you can actually bolt it in
I used Lowe's 1 inch longer studs. You will need to hammer out the old shirt studs.
How did you find the spacers I can’t find them anywhere
Are you talking about the white hdpe spacer? Or what spacer are you talking about?
Where can I get the hdpe spacers for a 2004 crv any help would be gladly appreciated
Been some time now are they still installed and holding up ?
Great I left the car in Mexico because I needed something to move in down there but so far so good
I will upload a couple new videos
cuz yo-boy projects never get done.
Can you share part numbers? Looks awesome
Part numbers for what?
hi... the spacers them are all same ?
Yess
CRV looks good 👍🏽 do you get vibration from the axles after you did the lifted?
Yes but if you use napa new axles they work great
@@Mk-cd1dd update, did you ever do the 1” inch subframe drop or just went with Napa cv axles only
Thanks MK - Doing a swap right now - Couple questions - What did you do with the wires in the engine compartment? Did you just unplug the sensor? If I don't do this and just unplug the sensor will it effect the way it runs or just make the check engine light stay on? Where did you get the connectors from - Type? Do they just tie the 2 wires together?
Sorry about the late reply I just unplugged the sensor and tuck it away. You can also find the plug for the sensor cut it and connect it, cut the ends so it looks cleaner also. Without a bypass of the crank sensor the car wont run. Regular splice connectors work fine.
When I get the swap the engine started up right away after we did it then the mechanic guy revved it up two times and it died is that normal or should the car still kept on running
Yes it should be running constantly
Even if you didn't do the bypass yet
@@matthewleblanc2581 sorry about the late reply yes u it will die since it doesn't get the signal from the sensor the ecm thinks the camshafts are free spinning while the crank is at a stop hence it shuts down to prevent damage to moving parts in engine
