Hi, hauptsächlich mit den Add ons Console Port und immersion. Die anderen add ons sind optional. Die Controller Unterstützung gibt es seit 2019 so weit ich weiß. Da ich erst 2023 angefangen habe, weiß ich das nicht so genau.

Do you make all your aoe center on what youre targeting or do you aim it yourself

The vile taint is set via a macro [@cursor] and positioned at the crosshairs. But you can use the ability without a macro and you get the typical green AOE sign on the ground and can put it where ever you like. Once you reach the place you want to put it you press R3 (my keybind for left click)

@@urvldervl3916 this depends on the ability. Targeting is via the L1 button which aquivalent to the "Tab" key. you hit it as often you need to reach at the applicable target. The crosshairs are my [@cursor] reference point. The disadvantage here is that you have to turn the camera in the direction you have/you want to aim

It’s not difficult at all. Controller support is given since 2019 afaik. To make it more playable I would recommend to install also console port and immersion. The rest of the add ons is optional.

I am still learning and playing every class a little bit to get to know how to play. If I choose to play a class more often I will read a guide 😄 fun is more important to me than max dps or other stuff. I played another mmo for 8 years on a high level and followed every meta and read a loooot of guides. And in the end I got very disappointed because I left the fun out of playing. Now it’s time to have fun. At my age (almost 50) I don’t care about „correct playing“ because I play almost on my own…the ilvl is by 467 😅 and we are where at the time? 639? I don’t care 😊 and if you watch carefully I don’t use always the suggestions by the add on, I am still using my brain a little bit 😂 and btw I am using the beginners built suggested by the game so 😂 to little knowledge at all 😅

Well I am severely disabled and can not use my left hand they way it should be anymore and I can’t sit in a chair and at a desk so I don’t have any experience in playing WoW with keyboard and mouse 😅. I have played for about 8 years ESO on PS with controller on a high level and now I wanted to try something similar but different. But not again in Raids and +M stuff again. Raiding 3 times a week and farming till I am bored to play the game 😂. I am playing WoW because I love the characters, the story and the setting. In contrast than many other I really like the Warcraft the Beginning movie. What I am doing is more for fun. I don’t play PvP no, I don’t like to stir up myself against other people (and I get to competitive when I try PvP). Killing monsters is ok 😂. And also I play only DD and very rarely Tank. I never tried healing because my wife loves to play heal 😊 and she is a good damn too😊. I hope I can help you and I can answer your questions. As far as I know Controller support exists since 2019 shadow lands. I don’t know it exactly because I play since 2023. The technical stuff how everything is arranged and so on when it gets to deep in the material I have to ask my wife and the care givers because I can’t do that stuff anymore. I just tell them what I need and they are setting everything up how it is now. Of course I do „research“ what add on does what but they are doing the most on the computer and give me my custom controller in the hands to play 😊. And I do not expect that you watch the whole video of course😊 I upload these videos to encourage people like me to play and try wow even with physical restrictions.

In der Kanalbeschreibung stehen alle genutzten add ons und ein Link zu einem discord Server wo alle Profile geladen werden können. Der aktuelle Patch hat allerdings einige Profile zerschossen und es funktioniert nicht alles leider. Allerdings der Interface String funktioniert.

Hi are you playing also with a controller or are you using conventional Mouse and Keybord?

The way I am targeting is via a Keybind like using the tabulator. R1 on the PS Controller is my „Targetswitcher“ 😅. If I am in a bunch of groups spotted by tank I tab so often till I got the right one to do damage. Of course for aoe damage like the volley of the marksmanship hunter Spec I have the option activited in console port to set the aoe via a macro at the area where my cursor is. The red „circle“ in the middle of the screen which appears once I cast or use something is a fixed cursor and there is my/your target . The only „disadvantage“ is that you have to turn the camera to target something.

But I like that I can adjust also the pitch for every character. Taurens need obviously more space for example 😬 in comparison to other races in the game for example

I play WoW really just for fun because of the story and environment. At the age of 50 and physical restrictions I don’t want to try to get in progress again. But I saw people to manage M+ up to 22 keys in Dragonflight as DD, Tank AND healer 😀 so there real „gate“ you have to pass are your guild mates respectively guild master to let you in core teams…

Vielen Dank für die netten Worte 😋. Was cool wäre wenn sie die Menü Führung und Karten Bedienung für Controller optimieren würden. Minispiele gehen manchmal auch nicht so gut. Da muss man häufig aufs touchpad vom PS Controller ausweichen.

If you to hear me talking okay I will give you a sample. I promise you you will not understand me. I am still learning WoW because I started a year ago. If have any hints how to play better than tell me pls. What is bot game play? People tell me often they appreciate it to that there is no commentary and in the title video I indicate this also. @kayn7171 I upload this to show people like me that you can play WoW with a controller. If you have physical restrictions like me who can not sit in chair or desk and use your hands it should be to play with mouse and a keyboard. It is to encourage people with disabilities (I can’t use my left hand the way it should be anymore and a lot more unfortunately) because many people react toxic to controller players. Many people asked me how did I do this, which add ons I am using and other people asked me how do I level my characters. And another group of people appreciate that I am taking my time (I am just playing WoW because I like the story and environment) and reading the quests carefully and do some „story mode“ videos. Some people like the quality of the videos in 4k resolution in 60 framerate to. They watch them when they are playing WoW on their TVs I assume. Why do they like them I don’t know 🤷🏾. And there is a little group who celebrate my „cosplay“ chars and want to know where did I get this tmog and so on. Around 150 people like my videos…it’s ok if you don’t like them. AFAIK there are players who managed to do m+ to 28keys with a controller as DD, Tank and also healer…but those I suppose are not disabled…

Hi, I don’t play classic WoW. For two reasons: I want to play actual content and classic has no controller support. I am severely disabled and can not sit on chair or desk to use keyboard and mouse and I can not use my left hand the way it should be. That’s why I have to use a Controller to play video games. Sorry but you will never see videos of classic 😅

Hi, hekili just adopts the symbols that are given through Console Port and Masque. If you look in the keyboard layout of WoW itself you will noticed (if a controller is connected and the keybind are selected with the controller) the symbols of the controller appear in the lines instead of „QWERT“‘or other keys. But I have to say I you use Bartenter like I do and the abilities are on the bars 2 or 3 Hekili does not know which keybind to use. If I press D-Pad „left“ and „Right“ (which are Shift and CTRL btw) I am using the programmable paddles on the backside of the controller and not „really“ D-Pad left or right. With those I reach Bard 2 and 3 they are my modifies. And hekili does not understand this.

In der Kanal Beschreibung kannst du die Liste der Add ons sehen, die ich verwende. Hauptsächlich um das ganze komfortabel zu gestalten braucht man, Console Port und Immersion. Die anderen Add ons sind optional aber dennoch hilfreich.

So hab ich das auch noch net gesehen aber es gibt ein addon damit hab ich am steam deck schon gespielt

Findest du das nicht, OK evtl bin ich zu old school, aber rumrennen ohne wirkliche downtime und Zaubern was das Zeug hält. Puhh

@Vrafthudnir man darf nicht vergessen das ist Pandaria Remix, die chars sind völlig overpowered. Da kannst du alleine Raids laufen und solche Geschichten. Retail ist nicht so. Aber ich spiele auch erst seit knapp über einem Jahr. Ich habe nicht wirklich einen Vergleichswert, wie das früher war. Der Focus liegt hierbei wohl einfach darauf, dass es Spaß macht 😂. Ich schaue nebenbei Serien. So aufmerksam spiele ich nicht in Pandaria. Freue mich nur, dass ich Bronze Farmen kann und Mounts und Tmogs bekomme an die ich sonst nicht ran kommen könnte.
