How does this perform on a gravel road?
If you get aftermarket off-road or hybrid tires it handles gravel really well, actually
This is a great product. It is far superior to the other versions by Segway of the same product. The reason is that the control bar on this unit is removeable and you can tighten it. The Ninebot MiniPRO has a removeable and adjustable control bar. The control bar attaches to the actuator which steers the device. Without that you cannot ride the device. What happens on the other units and what doesn't happen on the miniPRO is the actuator becomes offset to where the only way to fix is to just retighten it at the joints. But you cannot do this with the other ninebot products like this. The ones with no adjustment on the control bar also are not replaceable. The control bar on the MiniPRO is replaceable. Basically if you cannot replace the control bar then it cannot be repaired. Making Segway a lot more money. They are showing you that you as an American are not good enough for their product anymore because Segway REFUSES to sell to America now. I guess they realized that the product was made too well (designed in USA) and they would make less money. Call Segway and DEMAND that they start selling this unit in USA again or GTFO of our country.

My mini pro turns to the right out of the blue and ejects me off off it. Segway wants to charge me to repair their flaw. I’m gonna trash it and buy a EUC.
Good thing it’s got the anti security measure. That way, a thief wouldn’t be able to pick up the Segway and run away with it while I do yoga at the park, apparently.

I don’t see how to turn on anti-theft on my app and how it works like.
It locks up the wheels and fights and pitches a beepy fit if someone tries to take it. It's marginally harder to steal than a locked iPhone

I have one ^^ left tire leaks air, prob still unresolved :( Over 140mi of riding in, I air up the tires and go, not recently however

It was leaking from the get go fyi. Changing the tire is not as easy as a bicycle tire, and I don't want to damage the rim/motor taking the old tire off. Perhaps you could give me a reference to a shop near Seattle WA that is familiar with the Segway mini pro tire change ?
Like I say call the number they would tell you the closest shop
And look on RUclips there's people who repair them and show you how thou I know how my self just take off the hub cap and then unscrew the wheel then take the tire off like you would changing a bike tire and then do the same but in reverse to put it back together its actually really easy to do

It doesn't. But it has bluetooth and Segway or someone else could write software to make it work just like TILE does. In any case,even if you didn't lock it and it was stolen, the finder would not be able to access the bluetooth features without the password and code.
It uses your phone's GPS to show segway users nearby.
If they steal your iPhone at the same time, it *might*...
This thing is 10x better if you order the handlebars for it you can get it off there site. I have a video using the handlebars once I added them never went back to the knee staring, works like a charm :) They cost an extra 185$ but be sure to get the one with the kick stand. Been using mine for 3 months

I seen this and had to have one So I purchased a black one, The family and I are having a blast with it my 12 year old son jumped rite on it like he was trained already. Yes this is just a toy to us but nonetheless it's a blast and the safety features on it are really top notch I live at a lake side community so if I need to shoot down the road I jump on the Segway now I don't pull my golf cart out any more so much easier. Thanks for making a fun product very well made and lots of fun!
I love my mini pro, just a caveat: set the limiter as a alarm rather than a speed reducer, I get nervous when tilting back makes me feel I'm losing my balance!

Fine if your legs work perfectly. If not it sure beats a cane or walker. There is some core strengthening just staying on these too.
In any case it has a much smaller carbon footprint than a car, while still getting you there faster than walking. Sometimes this makes better time than a car when there is heavy city traffic, and there are no parking charges.
I have been waiting for that comment in public as Im a athlete that likes to use this for transportation, hmm who would have thought eh?! Dylan Gelbard the product has a Bluetooth password and lock function so no one can pair it and it'll be locked so only the one with the Bluetooth password can unlock it and unlock the unit with out that the product is basically a dead weight

It draws very little power while standing. In addition, it has a standby feature that powers the miniPRO down after long periods of no use.

Whats wrong with riding a nice bike? For the price of this you could get an amazing bike or four. I kind of just see this as a fad plus laws will push these to where people can't use them in public and you can't use them on anything but pavement. I can only see these being truly useful to a small majority especially not at this price point.
Tyler M um...bikes are very expensive for a quality trail bike your looking at 500-1000 $...when I rode BMX powerlifter bikes were 600$ for a great light bike...

Sadly in the UK, as with all such devices, it can only be legally used on private land: as it's powered it's not authorised to use on footways (it doesn't exactly classify as a mobility scooter - and those are only allowed on footways if speed limited to 4 mph) and it's incapable of passing the tests needed to be legal on roads.
Complain to Parliament and get it fixed!! Get rid of the Luddites!
