You also inconvenienced her. You provide a service and cancel on people that have set aside time for you. I’m not saying it’s right but the words you use make it seem like your more important than your clients

I can imagine the "client" is also the type who would complain if she had to give a deposit to this girl, and then had an emergency happen and didn't get the deposit back 😂

See I think if your customer service is good or great. You would offer the discount when you last min cancelled the client. Cause while it is bad for the client to ask for it, it is equally bad for you to cancel her without any penalty.

How is that a bad client tho? You cancelled on her it doesn’t matter that it was for your kid. You chose to have a career and be a mother, if you can’t do both then pick one. Your acting entitled if you think your time is greater than everyone else’s, this business model will not last long with your ideology.

I can see both sides. What if the client schedule this weeks in advance preparing for an important event. I.e a wedding or trip. Then to have the appointment canceled last minute. It is an inconvenience on the client. But I don’t agree with asking to drop the price.
