Here is a simple way to understand the Trinity Straight from the NABRE, this 1 has " Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ " St. Jerome on the back cover. In ( 1 John 1:7 ) We have fellowship with 1 another and the blood of his Son Jesus cleanses us from sin. How does this happen ( 1 John 5:7-8 ) So there are 3 that testify, the Spirit, the water, and the blood, and the 3 are in 1 accord. How they come together is in Jesus name, when you say Jesus name in comes the Spirit then right after it comes the blood and it mixes in with the water and when you get down into the water there's a washing and a cleansing that makes your spirit white as snow. ( Hebrews 9:22 ) explains it: According to the law almost everything is purified by blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Now I cannot show you the Spirit it's invisible, and I can't show you the blood shed at Cavalry, but I can show you the water. It's the only water that can save you, the water with the blood in it, and the only way it can be applied is in Jesus name. There is no other name in which you can be saved ( Acts 4:12-13 ) But you say I was baptized as an infant, no blood, no forgiveness, you can go down to river and be dunked 3 times, no blood, no forgiveness, what about all those who were baptized Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, no blood, no forgiveness. 1 Lord, 1faith, 1 baptism. It's for everyone no exceptions.

Instead of "Jesus, would you please help us through this storm?" they couch an accusation in the form of a question. Or maybe couch a question in the form of an accusation. Whatever. This drives me crazy when it happens to me. Just ask nicely and directly what is is you need. Don't play the blame game to guilt someone into doing or giving you something!
