Hes brilliant 👍🏻 very cool man, he's one of my favourites. His work on joker 1 and 2 was shot beautifully..smh..in joker 2 the end when arthur is put in the backseat of the car, that whole ONE, shot, was absolutely amazing. And the bathroom scene in joker was amazing with everything, Joaquin and hildur's music 👍🏻💯 that film is a masterpiece. Did Larry get a nod for the oscars? I forgot. Another brilliant film with great Cinematography.... The crow (94) (Dariusz Wolski) is brilliant as well. Almost black and white like the graphic novel..same with the film sev7en David Fincher and Darius khondji made a great film with colour. I use this same concept with my art and comicbook/graphic novel 👍🏻💯 Black and white on certain films, is always the best and my favourite. This scene Lawrence was explaining about arthur when he went into the fridge, looked really sick. Anytime I watch the Crow, Batman 89, those old comic book films, even 7 i watch in Black and white... I love the noir look. Makes the film(s) look and feel more intense. Lawrence is very inspiring.
loved this video! thank you for this 💛💛💛
Lawrence is cool as ice
Defo mate👍🏻💯 he's very cool and inspiring.
Remarkable man 👍🏼
Why not make it about the people who worked on the lighting both male and female. Why women only?
This is about one person that happens to be a woman that has done a lot for the cinematography of pixar movies.
This was such a beautiful video and behind the scenes on Pixar films! Thank you!
He's the best ever I love his work
The cinematography was amazing. The dancing in the bathroom after the three murders because he’s transforming into Joker. One of my favorite parts will always be after he kills Murray he laughs for the first time with no pain. Absolute genius acting by Joaquin all the way through.
Thank you
The cinematography of this show is amazing, Ives is an inspiration for aspiring cinematographers (me lol).
That's an awesome video!
It definetly is
Shot Deck is incredible
Drew Barrymore in Season 5 would be awesome🔥
not the worst movie I've ever seen
how can one attend his ASC Master Classes??? Would love to be a part of one!
His work in No Time To Die was phenomenal, it was so beautifully shot. I hope they hire him for more big budget projects because he’s definitely among the best in my book.
He's now shooting the film called Babylon starring Brad Pitt.
No Time to Die.....oscar worthy....absolutely stunning....
Pat yourself on the back for recognizing that lighting was a major third of this movie. You are on your way.
We do we love this film? We identify with the Joker. We want to justify our failure, our sense of cunfusion. For that turning point of justification to become so strong and feel so right, we find ourselves rooting for madness. Hitler. Think of it.
My son would LOVE to work with you, how could he contact you?
Wow❤️
Linus Sandgren is a legend
Great film Great video on the making of the film but I was disappointed with the opening music used.

Amazing interview! Lawrence Sher, Todd Phillips, Joaquin Phoenix and the entire crew that worked on this film made a real masterpiece. On every level.
curious fact Guess Who Will be the director of photography of black Adam starring by the rock 😁
WoooW😱😱
love from India. Truly respect from heart.
I've seen scores of films since Joker, yet this one randomly pops in my mind out of the blue. Great film, Larry's a genius.
14:23 me: when they asked what pixar films i love haha
The Best after The Dark Knight💯! #TheJokerGalaxy
I love her voice, its so calming. Makes me want to go and light a scene.
Is that exaggeration😂
This movie inspired me to go to film school! I’ve always loved cinema, but this was the one that made me decide I wanted to be involved in making films. A true masterpiece from beginning to end! Thank you to everyone who made this movie!
Loved the cinematography of the miniseries. Honestly captured feel of that disaster so well!
Let there be light!!
"....so he could use Greig Fraser?" Everyone wants Greig.
It really is too bad Pattisons Batman won’t see this Joker.
I'm sure they'll find a good one. There are rumors of Johnny Depp but might just be crazy rumors.
Well hope the rumors are true. He was going to be the Riddler in the last Christian bale movie but backed out. Would’ve been good.
It's absolutely overwhelming when you see how much technical and artistic input goes into making a movie.
Joaquin Phoenix is the masterpiece....He made this movie ...with his spontaneity full devotion to improvising his grace.......losing weight ...He has made his brother proud
What a fantastic discussion. I feel privileged to be able to listen to this
I really enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing
Loved this, thanks for sharing
Lawrence, Michael thank you. Exactly what we need. Perfect. More please, please.....
Very inspired. Thank you, Sharon and the ASC for this beautiful content celebrating a dedicated career in cinema.
I was excepted
I loved the cinematography in stranger things did you reference inception in series 3 with el looking into billys mind
I am just amazed bt the cinematography of joker and have been hunting for the behind the scenes this film is going to stick with me both as a filmmaker and as a story.
I don't know what you, the commenter think, but I feel there is a serious message behind this movie, maybe it's just me.
3:17 u will get shot if we film this are u sure...
I wonder who's the first like bc I never like my own comments are anything 😂
Greatest. You are great
