no one made a setlist profile for this show, but i guess this video is the next best thing. i hate to say it, but Bassnectar was one of my least favorite EDM shows i've ever seen, and i'm trying to figure out why, because Lorin is in my top 5 favorite producers. the more i reflect, i think there are a couple reasons that i might have been negative to this setlist. for one, they used the whole floor, so the reverb was kind of weird and muddy if you didn't stay close to the stage. second, i smoked a J i think before Mija, and i was on the comedown by the time Lorin came on for his set. third, and i'm still reviewing this as i write this, but it seems like he only played songs i didn't know, which when i'm on my 3rd hour of smoking a J, i get kind of cranky and tired, so i didn't want to hear unreleased IDs, i didn't want to hear other people's music... i wanted to hear stuff like Speakerbox, Noise, Don't Hate The 808, Open Up, Cozza Frenzy, Infrared, Generate, TKO, Voodoo, and Levelup. and don't tell me he played Noise, he used the vocal sample and put it over that annoying sine wave MIDI sequence over a trap beat that was passed off as a "song." and while i eventually grew to like Chromatek, Pineapple remix, and Disrupt the System, i just wasn't in the headspace to enjoy new songs. in fact, if it wasn't for the preceding song for putting me in a bad mood, i would have enjoyed Disrupt the System, but by then i was pretty much just daydreaming while waiting for more familiar songs. idk, a lot of this setlist seemed pretty decent, but i just was not on Lorin's frequency of mind that night i guess. idk if this would be bad, but i took half a Molly to try to counter the weed comedown, but it didn't really seem to do anything.
