Little Pond
Канада
Добавлен 11 апр 2024
At Little Pond vlog, we love to share our cottage life of engaging in little projects, cutting wood, hiking, fishing and enjoying all the beautiful nature surrounding us here in Newfoundland. Our videos are not heavily edited, typically we set our little GoPro up to run from a few different angles and let it go. We hope you find them relaxing to sit back and watch, or even have on in the background while you're getting your own chores done :)
Introduction to Salmon Fishing, Lomond river - 2022 July
Our good friend and neighbor, who is a salmon fishing guide, was gracious enough to take Michelle and I out on the Lomond river to show us the basics.

Going fishing before the long road home 2021 August

Madison and I got out for one last day of fishing before hitting the long road home. Madi did an amazing job driving the majority of the way back across five provinces and through some heavy rainstorms. #newfoundland #canada #offgrid #cottagelife #boating #lake
Landscape Project Day 2 - 2024 September

Beautiful weather for day two of the landscaping project. No easy short throws today, all sled and wheelbarrow. We took the time to lay a membrane along the little creek bed as well, try and keep the weeds down. All in all, a fun and physical project to work on. #offgrid #nature #newfoundland #canada #cottagelife #landscaping
Landscape Project Day 1 - 2024 September

The mission was to add 15 tons of top soil to the area just to the left of our laneway that we refer to as "the orchard"; there are several types of trees, plants, and flowers in there including a few apple trees. Over time, the soil had eroded so badly that the tree roots were exposed and the rock wall that supports the laneway was beginning to topple over. It ended up being a two day project,...

Spring is on the way, and it's finally time to head to the cottage and see how everything survived the winter. A fun project as part of this trip is to install our Starlink system we finally received; exciting times! #canada #newfoundland #cottagelife #nature #offgrid #gopro #offgridlovers
First Visit to the New Cottage - 2020 September

After having to say goodbye to the little red cottage, we were given the opportunity to purchase our neighbor's place as they'd decided to move West. An amazing chance to secure what will be our forever home; and this was our first official visit. #canada #newfoundland #cottagelife #nature #offgrid #gopro
Last Visit to the Little Red Cottage - 2020 March
Просмотров 1214 дней назад
It was early March, 2020, and COVID had just begun. Work was closed, all the kid's activities were canceled and we decided to jump in the truck and head to the cottage for a month. The visit allowed us to dig the little cottage out from under the snow and enjoy some peace in the snow covered valley of Little Pond. #canada #newfoundland #cottagelife #nature #offgrid #gopro

We’ve loved the old staircase but it’s time for a change. Mission is to open it up, let in some light and improve access to the space. This is part one of two; the next phase won’t happen until 2025. September 2024 #canada #newfoundland #cottagelife #nature #offgrid #gopro #stairs #renovation #reno

Solar Power System Upgrade - 2024 August
Where is this
Just outside of Gros Morne national park.
I live in Newfoundland
I miss those days of renovating houses. I wouldn’t have your patience Craig. I would have used a sledge hammer right from the start And Michelle. Where are your safety boots !!!!!
What’s in that sink hole ??
The bottom of the sinkhole had a few caverns heading in different directions, most too narrow to explore much. The water primarily escapes through a fracture in the rock heading North.
Thanks
Great Job!
Thank you! Cheers!
