This is so cool
Wszystkiego dobrego
This is not iraqi (its called ballamtia)
Any chance I can get a getting of this amazing looking tree?
Where can i get this fig variety, thanks

Hi, how can I get a cutting/plant of this fig?
Such a great example to preserve what our grandfathers left us
Fantastic! Great story! Thanks for sharing Anthony!
Do you have any cuttings available for sale? Love plants from cuttings?
Hi Anthony, I tried to email you but could not get through. Where are you from, im in Australia....how can i purchase this IRAQI FIG??
Iraqi fig trees are sold in Thailand
How can i get some cuttings
Where can we get Iraqi fig plants in Cental Florida? We live in Avon Park...my husband and I met you and your family at GYC and AdAgra a couple years ago:). Blessings 😊🙏
Ordered mine from a guy on etsy. I'm currently growing this out in Florida and it's growing great.
I do not the actual name of this variety of fig. But it is wrong to say it Iraqi fig. It is very common kind of fig existing in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, iran, iraq jordon etc. I recognised and indentified it from its leaves
I will try iraqi fig here in the Philippines.i have newly purchased purple fig.is this also an iraqi fig. Dark stem and can easily adapt mild tropical condition though it came from temperate region of Asia.
Aha! I found you guys!!! 😁☺️
Iam collecting figs. This seems to be unique. I would like to get two cuttings. willing to pay including postage. There is no need to airlayer.Esiest plant to grow from cuttings. In 2 months they will root.
Amazing ! 😃
Good I live fix
Here in our Country local fig collectors use it as rootstock for grafting other large fruiting figs. It's very tolerant to heat & rain. Other varieties they use are Ficus Septica & Ficus Ulmifolia.
I thought it could be an amazing rootstock. That is my plan here too. Can I ask what country you're from?
From the Philippines. We have rainy days that stretch from June to November. Nematodes & stem borer too are really problem here. That's why we use strong rootstock.
😀 love it. So happy to see you putting up more videos. Keep up the good work; love you guys much. Gods speed.
how can I get a cutting
Where can I get a cutting?
EXCELLENT JOB.MUY BUEN TRABAJO
I have a 4 year old plum that is in a bad spot when it rains it's completely under water when is the best time to move it
Definitely when the tree is completely dormant. What is your last frost date in the spring?
@@floralagardens5394 I think my last frost date will be in March all the leaves are starting to come off I scratch the bark of the tree and it's still green letting me know it's still alive but I don't know for how long
Are you in Florala, Alabama? Great job on the video. What others do you have in your collection?
I have this variety. It's pretty close to the wild figs when it comes to growing habits and it does well in tropical conditions too (the roots are somewhat resistant to nematodes)
I would also very much like to obtain this variety when you have some available. Good content. Subscribed!
Oooooh I want. can you sell cuttings or air layer? I live in the state of GA... Would you say the flavor is more berry-like, honey-like, can you describe any notes you pick up in the flavor?
Hi Tyler, I'll keep you updated. I'll be setting air layers next month. I'll keep you posted. The flavor is as I said in the video "like no other fig". Some will love it... some might hate it. When fully ripe they can taste like natural vanilla bean and sometimes and strong hint of grape. Very unusual. The skin is the thinnest of all my figs which has an unique velvet like texture. The fig turns juicy and can almost fall apart being so syrupy juicy. When it is like this it tastes amazing... but not like a fig :) You almost have to get in your mind that it's just a different fruit.
Very unique fig; where can it be purchased
I'm not aware of anyone selling this one right now. I'll be setting air layers in a few weeks. And, after dormancy, I'll be taking and rooting cuttings. I'm willing to share/sell so I'll respond again when available.
@@floralagardens5394 I am Interested in this fig as well
@@floralagardens5394 Please update if you will be selling cuttings. Thank you
I've called several times left you messages. Please call me when you can. Myrlande Richardson

I'll do an update video to show if the graft worked or not.
A lot of hard work and God , things can happen , very good video
I am moving to raw land and didn't want to leave 10 years of fruit trees and bushes behind. So I used my logging trailer with a logging arch on it to pull them out of the ground and replanted them at my new property. I had to severely prune them but they're alive and I'm looking forward to seeing them flourish. Great video!
That is an amazing experience!!! I'm so glad you shared.
Amazing
