🌸 when I started the book, I already said I didn’t wanna watch the movie. I was already reading the book seeing Blake’s face as Lily in my mind. I absolutely LOVED the book but watched the movie this morning and felt like it was kind of blah in comparison… The biggest difference that really grinds my gears 🤭 is the BIBS and ROOT. The reason of the name made sense but “better in Boston” was a big thing in the book. I thought the acting was good tho and yesss young Lily looks JUST like Blake!!!! Omg

the sixth sense has such a plot twist it was so good!

It was a great movie and I agree with you they didn’t romanticize it the movie and the book shows Love … But Sometimes Love is not Enough to Stay and also Love is enough to have to courage to let go … I love the ending of the movie they show Ryle as a man with Issues Yes he can be scary but there’s still a reminder of the man you used to love But that doesn’t mean you’ll stay specially when they is a child involved all the more I admire Lily’s courage and love for her daughter some scenes could have been more impactful like the scene with her Mom talking about her father and why she stayed or the scenes with Atlas although I feel like at the end it’s more about their friendship than their past relationship that draw them with each other but overall I love the movie it’s a different side of DA some more violent this one is milder but still triggering and hurtful

Yeah, the movie was pretty scary and mysterious. The slow uncovering of the truth was really intriguing. But I am not a big fan of the ending. It's disappointing and unsatisfying, say the least. Would give it a 7/10

This story reminds me that most men don’t like women, especially one that think. When I was at the strip club the dumber/naive I seemed to more money I made. Men always what to feel like they’re teaching you something. They only want sex dolls. I do know the most powerful and self actualized men love engaging with a woman’s mind and they also love push back. They get bored real fast with the dumb/naive woman.

Didnt dig it as much as Killing of a Sacred Deer but still dope af; Lanthamos is one of the best going currently sayeth me.
