Does Vampire Sound Like Creep? - The spooky chord sequence
I didn’t quite understand your last instruction in this. Maybe I’ll get it in the future.😊😊😊
Ok let me know where you feel I need to explain more
Really great tutorial - good work!
Thank you! Cheers!
What is the picking sequence?
Oh flip,, I know someone would ask me that! As Im self taught I dont tend to think too much about it, but its a simple pattern I learned from banjo players that I vary a bit. But is 5 notes per phrase. so using your thumb and Finger 1 and Finger 2 (T, F1, F2) and Strings 4/3/2/1 .... T-1/T-2/F2-4/F1-3/T-1. The last 2 are halves so you have 4 whole notes per bar. I do vary it a bit during the piece but dont ask me to explain that as I don't know :-)
Amazing! Absolute masterpiece by George! Sounds beautiful on ukulele
Glad you liked it!
I always thought this song was stand alone by the guitarist and was the reason for forming the band. Maybe its an urban myth
Well my facts were according to ChatGPT so they could also be urban myths?
Nice!! Is this standard GCEA tuning?
Yes it is. Works best with low G. Also i think T rex recorded in G# But it works well in A. Enjoy
Thanks, great channel!
AMAZING!❤❤❤
Thank you so much, I see you have covered it as well so hope it inspired you
Thank you very much😮
You're welcome 😊
Hey what is the strumming patern
DDD UD DD. DDD across beats 1/2 - UD is beats 2.5 and 3 and DD is across beats 3.5 and 4
❤❤❤
Glad you like it
Watching two legends talking about ukulele is the best!!

Thank you! Will do!
Yep… I use the E7 in many cases…. Like you say certain songs.
Yep Do what suits you It’s more important to enjoy the music
Hey thanks for this. Been looking for more unique tutorials on blues songs. Have had to chop up some old songs that just didn’t work for me…. Whatever makes you happy right! Thanks again…BTW I am a huge OLD original Fleetwood Mac and Peter Green fan.
Happy to help! I too love Fleetwood Mac especially that era of Oh Well, Green Maharishna, and the sublime I need you love. I will add some of those soon
@@robulele just been looking at Green Manalishi lately. When I went from Guitar to Uke, I tired quickly of hearing same old songs… started digging deep. You have helped!
Thank you I really appreciate you detailing how to play Albatross Great tune and great tutorial. I nearly had it just couldn’t work out the last part on coming back down to the F chord Thanks again from Aus 🐨🦘🇦🇺
Glad it helped!
I love to play along with artists like that...
Glad you liked it. I used Audiostrip to extract the backing and just keep the vocal and drums. The chords are so simple and obviously great for Ukulele and in the key of C!
Absolutely love this Are you going to post the Tabs Would love to have them for our Ensemble Group
Oh glad you liked it! Um writing tabs, very tedious to get all the timings right. I will create. basic one though but probably incorporate into a detailed RUclips tutorial. Its one of those tracks that works on a Ukulele once you move it up to F from E
@@robulele Thanks for reply - yeah I know tabs can be. I can follow most of it but a detailed You Tube would be very helpful. Couple of spots i am finding hard to follow your finger placement. Although If I play and listen and work on it - does come in the end. THANK YOU AGAIN - have followed you for a while and love your playing.
Added now ruclips.net/video/bfuCR96bfDs/видео.html, enjoy!
Love the idea but cannot see the point of a 10 second video clip?
Thanks for the feedback. This short was me testing out how the newish remix works for RUclips shorts. I sussed that you could remix yourself and how that could be very useful to layer up. I had already posted the short of the Sweet Caroline intro solo and it was doing quite well, so used this to remix me first adding rhythm, then adding bass. So yes there are several staging videos (made private). Shorts can only be 60 seconds max, so the remaining 45 seconds would just be playing and strumming a few chords. There is some consensus that shorts work best around the 15 second length. Its a pity you cant use a similar method to remix long-form. I have done that in the past but its very tedious and very time consuming. The remix function on shorts is so easy to use, and if you use headphones, very easy to add tracks in time! I will look to improve the content and add the chords or tabs though to make it more informative!
COOL😎
Thank you
Sounds good
Thank you
Very nice!!!!
Thank you! Cheers!
This is awsome man
Thank you
Thanks for the tutorial! Very nice and useful ☺️
Glad it was helpful!

Great lesson, very clear and concise. So pleased to find tutorials for intermediate level. Always on the lookout to stepped up techniques. Keep up the good work. Likes and subscribed!! 😊
Great to hear! More to come!
This in addition to your tutorial: while any recurrent figure or pattern theoretically can be referred to as 'vamp' never ever have i heard the term in use to describe that standard R’nR cliché, you are presenting here. The figure plays around w/ the 5th and the 6th of the respective chords. So the Subdominant for instance is indeed a Dmin. shape (!) for the duration of an eighth note but it really is a F6. ✌🏻kindest regards fröm 🇩🇪
As I am from a guitar background, the term vamp is very common for playing of Rock N Roll or Rhythm n Blues. When I moved to Ukulele I was very surprised that most players were not familiar with the term, though I agree its probably a slang term derived for roots in Blues. Also very common on Piano, but again probably derived in Blues or maybe Jazz. Whatever the theory, its a great way to make a rhythm swing along, so enjoy!
@@robulele i believe the term originated in Jazz music
Great
Thank you
