Q101 is back!

Great example of how awful program directors are. They destroyed this channel to go to a news channel that failed within a year and Chicago FM radio never recovered. Radio is a joke.

I was delivering pizzas when this happened. More than a couple pies were an extra 5 or 10 minutes late while I waited til the next commercial break . In a lot of ways Q101 ending coincided with the ending of my pre adult life. I was a few months out of college and within a year would have my first career. Growing up in the 90s Q101 was such a strong part of my childhood. It's what i listened to when I formed my first opinions about music . Sure it was heavily influenced by my older siblings, but I still consider the bands and albums I was introduced to during that time as some of my all time favorites. Offspring's Smash was the first cd I ever bought. While it definitely saddens me to relive the moment it ended, I am so grateful a formative time in my life was shared with an amazing radio station. With the state of radio and the music business, that's a sentence it looks like future generations wont be able to say. At least we still have the Lithium channel on satellite radio...

Still hurts...

This happened when i graduated middle school. So many memories. What a golden summer. Right now I'm in college and looking back to where I am now is so amazing. Radio for me is dead in Chicago, but wow thank god for playlists on RUclips of these guys.

Install the retroarch mod on hakchi for the games that have emulation problems like Super Return of the Jedi and Uniracers. It allows you to use a different emulator to play those games, and in most cases that fixes the problems.

Would have been great if they didnt make it look like the turrets open and close on the box. Unless you're a collector or whatever you'll probably be pretty dissappointed in the quality like I was.

Actually, Pusheen IS a real live cat. I don't know if she's still alive, though, but when the boxes started and the plush started being manufactured, she was still around. :)
