Thank you so much!! This song has been one of my go-to favorite Blue Oyster Cult tunes so I couldn't help but pay it tribute with one of my favorite animated vampire action series, too! I got the idea after experiencing A Perfect Circle's take on "Imagine" by John Lennon (the same can be said about the re-imagining of papa roaches "Last Resort" cover by Falling in Reverse. Same words, same tragedy, completely different cries for help... One of them clearly says "Notice Me" and the other says "STOP me". It's important to recognize the difference isn't always as transparent as the face value tones though. I suppose that for some, the purpose of these re-imaginings is to really rethink what could have been going on in the story from varying emotional vantage points weighing in on the same content from different perspectives.) . It really got me thinking about how neat it was to share the same words with different instrumental context can shift the emotion of a song profoundly, regardless of the words it is spoken; it occurred to me that the full body of a song rests in the nature of its emotional affliction in addition to its regularly observable defining values. With this taken into consideration, most of my music is coded with binaural tones somewhere layered throughout the undertone and subtle bands into the overtones for some more deliberate deployment frameworks for more specific tones that I want listeners to attempt to be more immersed into when listening to a song or concept album. sorry for the long message. i am very thankful that the song could be interesting for someone in a way that hopefully will inspire interesting ideas further influenced by the BOC! :D
