Never truly got to play EQ1 (we were pretty poor to afford it), tried EQ2 many years ago, personally liked 1 better. It had a certain charm, much like Might & Magic 6: The Mandate of Heaven did. The best way I could describe it is you could tell when creators poured their heart and soul into creating games back then.

Somehow, they made it look worse than the original game.

Even in 1999 Trailers made games look more visually impressive than they actually were :D

I was far too much into Ultima Online at the time for this game to hook me, The first time I ever seen this game being played someone had come into the internet caffe, he paid for three computers, loaded up EQ on all of them and started playing three characters at once for 12 hours, I was Ultima Online biased and did not like dungeon crawlers with loot but I know now had I gotten into EQ it would have been my hyperfocus for life!

Man, I spent far too many hours playing this game back in the day. Was on the 7th Hammer server in the Savage Arms guild. My first fight as a Dwarf was against a bat outside Kaladim and I didn't know any better and thought I had to jump to fight them. Shortly thereafter a Brownie killed me in Lesser Faydark, I think. Also, no telling how many platforms I ran off of in Kelethin. Finally, Crush to zone!

Back when life was so much simpler. I miss those days so much.

I miss how simple and enjoyable games were back then.

These are great! The way you've filmed them, the panning and etc is really really nice work. Did you use a flying mount to capture the angles like this? If I might make a request, though - could you upload in a higher resolution? This is very blurry at 240pp.

I'd like to this intro tweaked to reflect the story changes that we have now but in the same style. Bring back this intro!

Oh man, the nostalgia hits hard with this one. I'd like to see modern trailers from this day and age take a similar approach to how the gameplay and lore was showcased here, feels good.

Thanks for the EQII content. I see your experience bar go up quite a bit when killing mobs, I know people use these agnostic dungeons to level, do you have any tips about xp boosts that you use prior to entering the dungeons? If so, I would like to know! Keep up the good work.

What UI Mode?

Very nice walk through video! I've often wished there were more like this on RUclips. Most people seem to just show basic play, or raiding, etc. Nice to see a dedicated walkthrough of an important quest for a very useful item.

HA HA I see you craft pretty much the same way I do by spamming all the buttons. Do you also have a crafting mount or crafting specific gear set? I can't tell from your interface because I can't see any of the crafting bonuses shown. Also, if you use the DarqUI interface, there are some nice crafting features that have been built into the crafting window to help players switch into and out of crafting or adventure gear, mounts and familiars.

No Idea how you do this. I have Level 125 gear on and I cant even kill a single Dog there. What am I doing wrong ?

Looks like alot of work going on! Its astounding the amount of items in game that you can use to decorate your home or in this case your personal guild hall. Can't wait to see when its complete.

Question rather than comment, I believe you are max level doing this quest, why not chronomage down to appropriate level? Is there no reason to, are you maxed out on AA's as well? I dabble in Everquest 2 and really don't know all the systems very well.
