@@markdickenson1338 just a short visual to show where the dmx cable goes on the board. You got a question?
thank you. I've had this system for about a year and don't use it that often. Probably used it 3 times for a full event on satellite speakers with no issues and then didn't use it for a while. needed a refresher on how to get through the settings.
@@djneight nice! Since making this video I have sold mine, but it worked 100percent of time for me! Thanks and enjoy
@@discoverdevlin2289 did you replace it with another device? I have some xVive accessories as well which I also have used from time to time.
You should defeat low 80 hz for mic setting

Good tutorial. At the very end if you get your signal from the right channel of the Yamaha mixer & send it to the other speaker, you'd get stereo unless you purposely wanted mono therefore you got your signal from the closer speaker. I have the same mixer & it is excellent.
Thanks for the feedback! Yes-love them Yamahas analog mixers! Be well friend
Thank you for recording this! I was changing frequencies manually in the past.
My pleasure! Enjoy 😊
You have the best Video. Showing how to put on the TV mount

Can the EW 100 G4 be connected to an iPhone 13 or later. I want to use the iPhone camera for video recording and the G4 lavalier microphone for audio. Thanks.
No clue on this-have never used it for anything but speaker use-
Not sure on this one, I only use it on speakers…
I want to use the iPhone camera, but the Receiver does not send the signal to the iPhone. Do I need to change something on the iPhone, use a different cable, etc.? Thanks.
Not sure on this one, I only use it on speakers…
$430? It’s like $600 now.
Sorry to hear, however, I’d say still worth it at that price-the tv mont has endless possibilities! Thanks and take care

can this be used for a guitar?
Yea! I’ve never used them that way, but someone in the comment section of this video said he used them for his pedal board! Enjoy-
This is an excellent video! I’m a DJ looking at these with the same use in mind. For ceremonies, which lapel mic unit do you like using for these? I’ve seen both the Sennheiser ME2 and ME4 online but unsure which or if any other lapel mic is better for ceremonies particularly. Thanks!!
Thanks so much for the love. I have never used a lapel mic for ceremonies and never plan on it. Lapel mics are very sensitive to wind and feedback so I just don’t take the chance. I would stick with sennheiser though in my opinion as they are built to last and very reliable! Be well!
@@discoverdevlin2289 good to know! So you use a handheld mic? I’ve even doing the same until now, but have some officiants asking for a lapel so was looking into it. I’m kind of new to the game so would love to know if you run into couples/officiants asking for a lapel and how you respond when they do?
@@MrMaui38 wireless mic on a straight mic stand. Tell the couple that it sounds better and has fewer drop outs. Also, less likely to feedback, but unfortunately, some couples don’t want the mic in their pictures, so it’s a catch 22! Contact Ben Stowe at nlfx for his opinion on the best lav mic system to get for a ceremony if you want to make the investment. I’d imagine your looking at around 500 dollars. Enjoy!
@@discoverdevlin2289 thank you! Much appreciated!

What's the duration of batteries... can you also plug in adapter for continuous power ?
I have ran these for approximately 4 hours and batteries and they still had power left, so I would Imagine up to 8 hours, but can’t be sure. I don’t think you can run adapters on these as there is no plug for such a cord. Thanks and be well.
They have a battery pack you can run off ac power on Amazon
Loved the bee! I thought it was near me! 😂 Great vid! I just got mine for a compact pedalboard inear set up since I play guitar and sing. Can't wait to test! 😊
Enjoy!
I got these for my guitar pedalboard that I travel with. This video definitely helped with setting these up easily. I still seem to get dropouts randomly but I’m thinking it’s due to the receiver being on the ground on a pedalboard instead of being elevated at least to the height of my waist. I’m guessing that due to line of sight being 300m and the antenna not being a larger one like my racked Shure SLX-D which I’ve never had any issues with ever and have played some bigger shows with. Their specs are roughly the same and on the same band (H55) so I’m guessing the issue is due to receiver being on the pedalboard instead of elevated but I have no idea. It works perfectly in rehearsal/soundcheck.
Nice-thanks for the input. I get interference sometimes during wedding ceremonies when a bunch of cell phones are present-not a whole lot you can do but get the clearest channel-take care.
@safedangerband.... you want to make sure the antennas of the body pack are oriented the same direction as well. If they are not, it reduces the signal between the units. Line of sight is important as you stated as well.
Hey good day, this is a single output only transmitter right? In that there is no way to have a main mix on one “channel” and individual mix on the other?
What kind of wires you use

@@discoverdevlin2289 thanks.
Can you connect this wireless mic to a vocal processor and then to a mixer ?
Yes, anything that has a XLR input, however, there are better mic options out there. This system is primarily used to connect a satellite speaker. Thanks and be well!
Would’ve been nice to see a DJ controller or a pair of turntables and mixer, set up on the booth just to get a reference of available space for DJ gear
Good call-I can fit the following-traktor mk2 s4 with a travel case, a Yamaha mg10xu mixer and have about 10 inches of space for misc items such as mic, paperwork, and iPad for back up music-send your info if you want me to send you a pic. Be well!

this is NOT the intended use for wireless IEM systems. 1. The belt packs are not outputting 20hz-20khz for starters. 2. The signal coming out of the belt pack is a high impedance amplified headphone signal, NOT line or mic level. This will over time cause damage to your PA. 3. The belt packs have phase response that is not suitable for the use that your are demonstrating. 4. There is a latency time that applies to wireless. 5. interruptions to the to the RF band your on can and will occur, and have potential to stop your show and in rare cases, to kill your PA. Basically everything about this is wrong. and anyone wishing to replicated this is doing so at their own risk, or potentially risking someone else's gear. and finally, if you use a better mixer with better Dad's on the input and outputs, and which are using less noisy, more sensitive and responsive components, the audio coming out of your belt pack will be several orders of magnitude better.
Thanks for your thoughts Mike. Can you publish a video on the correct way to get audio wirelessly from one speaker to another? Have a good one.
@@discoverdevlin2289 those were not fighting words. Just education, so that you can get the best quality audio possible with your setup. The correct way is to use high bandwidth point to point microwave links. These are polarised p2p links with line of sight range good for a few klm. With your mobile setup, I’m actually confused as to why you would even need wireless, since the PA system you are using already requires power cables, it is already technically not a wireless system. Using iem system as a p2p wireless link is similar to using a walk-in-talkie instead of a wireless mic. It might be A solution, but it is by a wide margin the least best solution possible.
@@michaelhicks8603 hey, far from fighting words, just seems like you have a lot of knowledge in this field. I’m always asking questions on how to better my set up. Is there a better system out there to get audio wirelessly from one speak to another? Thanks and have a good one.
@@michaelhicks8603 below comment from l delta is my other account. Thanks-
@@michaelhicks8603 I use the bodypack EK-100 G4 receiver, and Velcro it directly to the side of my PA up high for line of sight. I use it for small wedding ceremonies and speaking engagements. What I’m wondering is am I doing myself a disservice by not using the box unit with two antennas? I never know what to call it. I’ve used the body packs for years with no issues. I guess what I’m doing is different than what is shown in the video, but still interested in everyones opinion. Thanks!
I rented multiple of these and this really helped with changing frequencies.
This battery can rechargeble?
No, they don’t come with rechargeable batteries, but feel free to put them in there! Be blessed
hii bud , am an instructor and i would like to get the Sennheiser Ew-112 , the problem is it possible to connect the receiver directly to a bleutooth speaker like jbl or to a standard speaker without using a mixer ? im looking to have a wireless mic connected to a meduim size speaker for presentations in big closed spaces, all the videos i found besides this one indicate that the sennheiser Ew are meant to be connected with a camera and thats it , thxxx
Thanks for the question. Yes, you can plug it right into a speaker, however, you have less control with the gain/volume without a mixer. Also, lav mics are very sensitive so stand behind that speaker-take care.
@@discoverdevlin2289 thank you for your answer , i found what is called active speakers with integrated amplifier , is 120 w speaker is oki for lac mics ? Thank you

I plugged the XLR coming out my xdj-rx3 to channels 3/4 on my yamaha mg10xu mixer and it was peaking and distorting so what is the best way to connect or is there a correct way to unbalanced or should I press the HPF button on the 3/4 don't know can someone help please ? Thanks .
Hey, thanks for the question. Xlr out from controller. Right goes to channel 3, left goes to channel 4 on the yamaha mixer…don’t press the high pass filter, but press the pad button next two it on channel 3 and 4. This is weaken the signal and distortion should be removed. Enjoy-

Thank you for this video. I am not sure that, is there 2 transmitter? I need lav mic, what should use for interview videos. For this situation which lav mic worth to buy it? If you have another advice, I would be happy. Thanks again!
One transmitter and one receiver. I use the sennheiser lav mic that came with the set. I would search RUclips for interview lav mic set ups as this is geared more towards setting up remote speakers. Thanks and be well.
Does this work with an omni directional head mic?
Yea it does-just make sure the mic input cord is compatible with sennheiser, as this brand isn’t universal.
