The HW45 is a beast. My red dot moved after some heavy use. Tighten it down good.

​@@ResonatorProductions I imagine that being fact about the tightening, I tried the scope out this morning and the first time I shot the gun to be honest and I'm well pleased with it and not as bad as some reports I've seen. I might enter the Olympics LOL

If you visit the NightFox website it will explain it more there. Basically you need to download the firmware update from the website onto the memory card. Then select the option in the menu on the Prowl to update. It is really simple to do.

It might have a very low count of radiation. I checked mine with my Geiger counter and it was reading under 5 CPM. I’m sure it’s safe. It is a very nice camera, I believe the later editions improved the features and performance 👍

Yes I used it recently. I have bought a 5 litre charging bottle for quicker refills and an extra magazine. Fitted sling swivel studs for a bipod and a longer bolt to adjust the trigger better. It is a very good air rifle and very accurate.

Thanks James. I like the results you get from them. I often find the old / retro look is more pleasing than a clean digital image from a modern camera. These old cameras are fairly cheap and there are a lot of bargains to be found 👍

@@ResonatorProductions I’ve bought a few vintage cameras recently just for the lenses, Helios, Super Takumar etc but couldn’t agree more about the results from these vintage cameras, they certainly do have character.

Yes I really like how this film stock looks. I had a few frames from this roll that look really bad because I left the shutter open for too long for the night scenes. Fortunately I had some that were ok and usable. No I didn’t develop these myself I used a place called Analogue Wonderland who are very good and reliable. I’ve developed black and white at home but not colour film yet. The price for that Tiffen lens filter is crazy, but hopefully it does the job for you 👍

Thanks, yes it’s mostly disappeared now here but it was good while it lasted. I kinda hopeful we can see more in the coming months 👍

The build quality seems very good and I’ve had no issues so far regards reliability. I think everything will be fine as long as you wax the rails and string often. Also use good quality bolts, not damaged ones. I think I might upgrade the scope to something better in the future.

It does move so you can adjust it. But you need to unscrew an Allen bolt. No quick release I’m afraid.

Thanks for your comment. I can tell you that when you look through the eyepiece the flickering is less noticeable than viewing the recorded footage. I am not sure why it happens, maybe my device is defective or the lighting conditions cause this. I wonder if other users have this flickering? Maybe it can be removed with a future update? 🤔

@ResonatorProductions depend on what's causing it. It almost seems like it happens at set intervals, so it might be related to how it's refreshing the sensor or the display so I might guess is one or the other is being pushed slightly beyond spec. Reminds me a lot of the cheaper monitors that advertise high refresh rates, but you have to overclock to get it. Some handle fine, but not all do. Got an NVG 30 on the way. I will be curious if it does this too.

​@@ResonatorProductionsHave you tried changing the Htz to the other setting and comparing that. It looks like it's either changing the shutter angle to something out of synch and dropping a frame when it adjusts brightness, or its dropping a frame everytime it changes the ISO
