Our mission for our RUclips Channel is to bring awareness of Russo-Native Orthodoxy in Alaska to the world. Because the state of Alaska is very far spread out, His Grace, +Bishop Alexei can't make it out every village all at once; therefore, we have taken to social media and RUclips as a means for His Grace to reach the pious faithful all around the Diocese and to teach them about the patristic writings of the Church Fathers, the traditions of the Holy Church, and to encourage and preserve the traditions and cultures of the Yup'ik, Unangax, Sugpiaq, and Tlingit peoples of Alaska.

That is encouraging to hear. God is merciful.
Father, I have tried to be soft hearted with people. Or as I call it, "being authentic" or "being yourself". But it's difficult to live this way in the world or around non-Christians. Who view kindness as weakness and try to walk all over you. So I have learned I can't be myself around people of the world. I also have a hard time chatting with them because I don't know their TV show, movies, or music. I don't need all that negativity or impurity in my life. Do you have any thoughts on this. I ended up saying more than I intended.
The uncreated God cannot be described in a created language
The deep problem is in some cases, forguiveness sometimes only opens the door to more abuse.

This was incredibly helpful for me I have someone close that has a Trauma Personality Disorder and it's hard to endure. So because of the moodiness I try to avoid being around a loved one. I am extremely Co-dependent in that I internalize the moods and emotions of others taking a lot personally. I have to live in the same house so not becoming reactive or responding in frustration and anger is easier said than done. God help me!

what about the sexually abused and raped victim....are you saying they are prideful too, for all the unresolved trauma and pain they have to carry their entire lives when the rapist got away with it??
That's a tricky one and it needs to be approached slowly because forgiving mindlessly can put the victim in grave danger. However, this is ultimately the same problem.

Forgiving allows letting go the hurt. Letting go enables healing. This, at least, has been my experience as a rape victim. Your question seems to be a general one not tied to any specific person or event; priests counsel individuals in their concrete circumstances, so this series of videos probably provides all the answers you will get until you discuss a concrete problem with a priest.

I don’t think forgiving our worst enemies is akin to dismissing the suffering of the victim, of course the greatest sympathy goes to the victim. Forgiving our persecutors is for the healing of the victim, because being haunted by the horrible acts and thoughts of vengeance can consume the victim. You cannot forget, but you can try to let it go. God will deal with this, even if the criminal evades earthly justice. The struggle to overcome this cannot be understated, but there is Christ’s Gospel.
Pardon my ignorance Father,as Judas had betrayed our Lord and he couldn't bear the shame and regrets,he hanged himself,will he possibly forgiven on His 2nd coming of the final judgement?
