@@tamale314 I never worked out, though, how many hearts each bond level takes, only that C needs more than one (except in one particuar case, next map, which I suspect of being automatic).

@@tamale314 It would take some doing; I was nowhere close. My first priority was getting every character their top promotion, (completed in chapter 22) after which I did achieve all 150 C bonds (after chapter 24). Even that took several goes at both 23 and 24, through never knowing when a heart showed a bond level being completed, or only progress towards one. But beyond C, no character made all their As (Irving had 9), and one later joiner didn't even make any Bs.

I think it happens again in a later episode and either it fixed itself or I fixed it without realizing how. Avatar: The Last Airbender is my favorite anime of all time so far. If you like anime you should check it out.

@randyjones7761 haha nice one. I'm definitely not normal but I just don't like beef as much as most people seem to. Don't get me wrong, beef is good. But I usually like poultry better. And when I do eat beef, I'd take a burger over a steak every time. Weird, I know.

Is that a personal challenge or is there an achievement for that? Sounds like it would be fun to do.

@RSimpkinuk57 thanks I appreciate the info. I think I'm a little over half way through the game and I still don't fully understand the rock-paper-scissors mechanic. Still really enjoying the game, though.

@@tamale314 It isn't rock-paper-scissors, not like Fire Emblem, where if I am good against you that means you are bad against me. It is weapon vs armor to do more or less damage. So I can be good against you and you bad against me, or we can both be good against each other, or both be bad. This can be seen in chapter 1, where Maren's equipment makes her good against warriors like Irving when he is bad against them. (He prevails against the goons through better stats.) But now imagine Maren vs another Maren. Warriors in plate are as vulnerable to Alden's arcane magic as to Maren's club, but then the difference between their DEFence (anti-weapon) and FORtitude (anti-magic) stats comes into play too. Now bring in doubling, dodge tanking and crit machines, then skills and aspects. Lots to enjoy. I recently completed the last three chapters, having taken a rest after almost finishing back in April (typically taking several goes at each chapter, learning to play it better, before moving on to the next).
