I operate different audio systems, but I like Western Electric sound.
Listening to music through a vacuum tube with a nearly 100-year-old system is fun.
This is Korea and Gimpo, 45km away from Seoul. My job is an artist
I mainly do sculpture installation video painting performance.
And language can save Korean and German.

😊eine sehr beeindruckende Anlage. Respekt.👍👍🇩🇪
Good morning 🌅, very nice, I am listening to your music on my newly rebuilt transmission line cabinets, a couple of something that was in a magazine in the 70s , I am using SEAS drivers, 8” and tweeter 1” , the line length is just over 14’ , they sound amazing, retired English dude living in France,

The LP is jittering and the playback is whining. Can't you hear that?
It's not a problem with lp playback, it's compression of video files
@@westernelectricchannel The LP jittering is because of the video compression? Come on...
@@thrvrflws I don't know either. I recorded it on my iPhone a long time ago and uploaded it, but I'm setting up a new audio room now. I'll set it up well and record it with a good microphone and upload it

If Mr.Itoh Kitao, Legend man about Mr.Western Electric in Japan, would be quite surely glad to see this scene, who has been dead ten or twenty years. He was just the man of Western Electric Heart. He devoted all himself to the sounds of Western Electric. Never been married, he died in solitude.
Grandiose!
Oh those western electric TV-2 tubes are great. Yikes, I have a TV-2 from 1918. I've been crazy and have tested it on my TV-7A/U, the damn thing still works and is strong to this day....
Looks like we got audio right the first time as a species. What is this? 110 year old speaker system for a movie theater? I've messed with Jensen speakers from the 30s and yes they also required about 400V on the coil to engage the magnet. I have a Magnovox from 1923 that requires a 6v battery to be connected to the coils.
Silbatone!
I love that you are using the credenza horn with the 555! The horn was designed by western electric (I believe). Some of the horns in the large acoustic machines were metal and some people say they prefer the sound of those.
After seeing the Credenza, Western Electric commissions Victorolla to produce 12a, 13a. So 12a, 13a will be installed in the first meteor movie theater. However, the production cost is so high that 15a made of plywood is widely distributed. There are fewer than 10 original 12a,13a worldwide.
Great sound!! Are the Victrola made for 555? Or you did the modification to the cabinets for matching the 555? Also which are the power amplifier’s tubes ? Excellent sound at all !!!!
RCA Type 35, a screen grid tetrode first made in 1927.
영어 Victorola is originally a phonograph.I removed the furniture decoration on the outside, made an adapter, and used a 555. The vacuum tube of the power amplifier is an rca 50 type tube, which is 350(1930s). Both 250 and 350 are good.
RCA Radiotron UX-250,or 350
Great! I would also like to note that you chose the right music! I believe that only classical music can show the potential of the system.
Nice entertainment center, speakers & horns.
pure beauty
Your room looks like my idea of heaven on earth ! My ears would be in paradise to listen to this live ! Thanks for sharing. What marvelous speakers.

Is that a fishing net for a koi pond? I would not entertain any further changes to speakers or electronics (it must be lonely at the top). The weakest link is probably the absence of diffusion. I'd replace that TV with an acoustically transparent projector screen that's covering a whole wall of quadratic diffusors. 2d near the ceiling and floor, and 3d in the middle. There are 5mm thick french cleats on amazon that can secure them to wall studs.
If I knew where these horns lived, I'd buy the house next door. I'd continue to drop in and listen until served with a restraining order. On an unrelated note, I was looking forward to seeing Silbatone in Munich 2024 but it was a tiny booth and some other vendor took their place.
"audium" grand open
Sound fantastic 😂
What piece of music is this? Beautiful system!
Et Lidet Barn Saa Lysteligt, its beautiful!
何を見せたいのか、何を聞かせたいのか。 まるっきり解らない。
나도 몰라
There is some serious organic, natural sound there.
It's the time warp back to state of the art 1928 !
I imagine its hard to actually record th ok se speakers accurately
weia.
I think this music way played in Andrei Tarkovskys film Mirror from 1975
僕の父は、WEの6Aホーンで聞いています。
The sound of a horn speaker is itself a musical instrument. Just like Stradivarius...
i will love to have them, they are beautifull and special as hell, sounds amazing and natural..., i will love to play toccata and fugue of bach, some paganini, tarkus, echoes of floyd and some genesis from seconds out there...., so amazing!
Man this is great. Fill your your room with insanely big speakers. Why not? When someone questions your sanity you can always claim you feel nostalgic. Happy days
for that slow soft music you can take simple small bose sepaker too that no performance to play that music 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Think about it. Do you think I only listen to slow, soft music with this speaker?
@@westernelectricchannel just show us how youe system sound with japanese drum fire sound, that showing the limits of every system and not your slow soft shit
wow so real gave me the goose bumps!

very beautiful sound beautiful creation emotion factor what is the name of this music please

Beautiful ! Oh man what I would give to have these speakers. Congratulations !
Wow and a 597 to supplement the higher frequencies very nice set up, if you need to store them in the future I’ll help you out. Thanks
The bass bins look like very early Lansing , but those 12/13 is unmistakable
How big is your Stereo System ? You: Yes ! :D
Can't tell a thing from simple music
Talk about a flex. This dude is total showcase showdown.
👍👍👍
Beautiful sound. Spiegel im Spiegel is a great example of simplicity by a master.
What a treat to see this.
Very disturbing. Feels like hoarding place. How come anyone could listen to the music in such a mess? Just an opinion...
Amazing!
Magnificent. I don't think the video does it justice or comes close to how it must be like hearing this in person.
Just to think how many of these fabulous horns were dumped into dumpsters when movie theaters “upgraded” to “new” speakers.
I helped pull some from skips/dumpsters many years ago and gave them a 2nd life..... that was ~ 20 years ago... some of this gear was shipped to Japan at the time.
@@CathalCoolkirky good you were able to rescue those speakers!
This Denon DP-100M is the best direct drive turntable of all time it is the record player of my dreams, those who own it are very lucky...!!!
😮❤🤩👌🤌🙏🏼
I imagine that scene in the yard from Shawshank. You know which one. Different song, but coming from horns.
