Hating pop music doesn’t make you deep. Ok that brings a lot of questions like, what is deep? what does make you deep, if not having opinions? And who the hell cares about who likes pop music or not? and why someone might have their opinion? Back to the point of this. How does disliking something because you perceive yourself as deep even make sense? Opinions aren’t opinions because of what opinions do FOR you. You have opinions because you have opinions? Have you somehow come from a planet where people only choose their opinions based on what it does for them in terms of their social status? You seem to have rambled onto something even you don’t understand. You can’t tell me I’m not deep for liking pop music when. They’re not even related. I’m a deep thinker and have a lot of strong opinions. But I guess disliking pop music doesn’t necessarily mean I’m able to say I am anymore.

No one is hating on something to be pretentious, they just hate it because it’s generic, cringey and made from the same formula. The fact it is designed for dull or inattentive ears, corporation promotion and children. You realise it’s POP because its only popular as it’s most presentable for radio tv and charts…. pop is a hollow machine that is ran by executives 😂 seems you haven’t realised it yet. Does the pig realise it’s eating slop? Nope😂 POP to me sucks because it’s standing in the music industry is only because it’s highly presentable on TV, it’s Age appropriate and the barrier for entry is so low because it’s simple synths, autotuned women and electric guitar. Not to mention they all follow the same lyrical structure of a Taylor swift breakup song… That original comment in itself about thinking “hating on something to be cool, isn’t cool” is pretentious as hell. On top of being dead to rights wrong 😂 who did you make this post for? I all but guarantee it wasn’t for men…. Dua lipa. I’ll do a you “Stop lying to yourself so you can think that people think you’re cool” 💀 okay well it definitely wasn’t for like minded people who just want to talk about music because you somehow brought up “how we perceive our status, defines our opinions, your preference is fake, you just lied to yourself to be cool” Was this post just to tell the world how you feel about people having opinions you don’t agree with? You seem to have just said “you think that because you think you’re cool” and acted like it was something deep.
