Germans are certainly strange people.
Need to dig out my “neubauten “ vinyl now….. brilliant by Blixa
Sehnsucht einzige Energie. Verwandt mit Sucht.
was inspiration to throbbing gristle
Um, no. TG formed years earlier and broke up originally in the same year EN was founded.
Best ever german music
THIS is the one I've been looking for!
best thing ive ever seen in my whole life and its not an exaggeration.
If one could express my enteral thoughts and feelings, this would be the sound track.
A masterpiece ❤

Mayo 2024.
This must rank as one of the most mysterious works on this site. Just what is going on with this one? What are those weird grid-like structures? What’s with the tree and the reflective bridge-like structure it’s on? Is this a futuristic setting? I might be overthinking it. It might be something really basic but rendered bizarre due to the limitations of both the technology and the artist at the time. Still, the enigmatic quality of the work (intentional or not) makes it a fascinating and memerable work nevertheless. It would be nice to see this one revisited, though I doubt its artist will do so. It may also be the case that a work like this cannot be updated and made more comprehensible without losing its enigmatic character. The way it exists with this early rendition is the only way it can exist without ceasing to be what it is.
have you seen any Gakuryū Ishii films? I would recommend checking his filmography out, he directed this and it is very in line with his works along with the likes of shinya tsukamoto. EN probably had something to do with the industrial shots. You may be overthinking it, i would recommend also looking into Einsturzende Neubauten as a band and their history and discography. This was originally intended to be a companion piece of sorts (at least in my opinion) for their album Halber Mensch. Originally released on VHS. Best band ever in the history of music and one of my favourite directors, truly a remarkable film
"Polish Government on Exile" also known as cowards who left their Countrymen in days of oppression to cling on to POWER (which they lost anyway)
Idk, I think they might be using backing tracks…
obviously never been to a neubauten gig
(33:55) Blix is rockin' the eye slits.
Bellissimo.
The best movie to have a panic attack to
Oh 100%
Blixa was so beautiful then. I worry about him these days, he must have doubled in weight. I love him and worry about it.
Bro broke his leg twice
Saw him in Oslo a couple of hours ago. He seemed to be doing ok ❤
No need to dessecar EN.ENJOY IT!
@@IRENESIMOES-l3k We did.

Ganz sehr beeindruckend. Danke!
en s true masterpiece..just incredible❤❤❤❤
Love this impassioned, of, as I perceive it, urbanistic dytopian expressionsm. Belixa, everything you produce is beautiful!
Great stuff! I was so fortunate to see them live in Detroit, probably some time around 2000.
I saw a live performance of this group in Detroit in the 1990s!
Yea they were very different in the early 80 s..just as the birthday party. Their gigs where the best i have ever seen
wow, you are very lucky
There is no record for a Detroit tour stop in the 90's. Two stops in 85 and 86 though. Asylum and Greystone respectively.
@@omgitsbats Interesting, because I WAS THERE. Maybe it could have been a little more recent like 2002 or something. It couldn't have been in the 1980s because I remember it was only a few weeks before or after seeing Deerhoof live at the same venue, and they didn't exist in the 1980s.
So what, i saw them at I-Beam in San Francisco early 90s, is there a record for that? Not usually, unless it was ptv or tg@@omgitsbats
Man this was great! ❤️😀
Yeah. Rather good. Thanks for including the extra ones.
I was there, part of the choir. 3 of the most intense days of my life.
Nice
😂😂😂
me lembra de tetsuo: the iron man
I thought so, but this is by Sogo Ishii. Tetsuo is by Tsukamoto Shinya. I had to look it up.
i’ve never resonated with anything more in my life
