I used this just yesterday with a vol mouse at the roots then after scrunch in more mouse after using it. Iv never ever after almost 3 years in CG/B Method had my hair feel like silk!!! SILK - from a wavy 👌

I couldn’t buy the cantu bc I won’t purchase a hair product w fragrance in first few ingredients. Yes. Might smell nice. But “fragrance” can actually mean thousands of ingredients. And I would rather my hair maybe not smell as good but be healthier from good ingredients. If I want hair perfume I’ll just buy that ;)

Thanks for confirming that I picked the right product! I was debating between the Cantu and the Shea Moisture. Because the Cantu was cheaper, I went with that one. And thanks for letting us know about the strong fragrance in the Shea Moisture. I have another one of they're products that smells like cheap coconut perfume.

wow looks so good! thanks for comparison. sadly cantu isn't very accessible in Aus whereas shea moisture is much easier to get. I definitely see a massive difference in each side. Cantu looks much better!

I've only tried their clarifying shampoo and I really liked it. On my second bottle now! I was thinking to try their styling products because I'm really in need of some more! I'm going to buy the styling products you used and give them a try! By the way, your hair is soooo pretty!

Is it necessary to use leave-in conditioner before we use the curl cream? I use cantu but i apply them directly on my wet hair without applying any leave-in conditioner. Please reply! Thank you🙂

I think you need to mix the Shea Moisture smoothie with another curl cream. At the moment I try it together with the Sashapure curl cream and then with the curl cream from Rizos Curls.

I used cantu ...i guess in between 2a to 2c curls nd my hair is sooo oily nd sticky...any recommendations what I could use ???

Hi there! It’s me again! Your no.1 fan! 😂 So I really love how defined your curls look! Is it sticky at all and do you really need the leave in as well? Did the cream act a bit like a gel as you mentioned a cast? I tried this brand a couple of years ago and found the conditioner awful as it dried my hair out (maybe too much protein) ? Need to check ingredients. A full list of the ingredients woukd be really useful for future tef. Also maybe reviewing what evening and second day curls are like? How to refresh? Many thanks though. I might try again as it’s cheaper than Bounce curl or Curl keeper for sure. Thank you 👌🏻🙏🌻❤️

I seem to be your No. 1,fan! 🤣 Superb! Thank you . So tried both myself on my high porosity low density fine 3a/b curls. Cantu... hmmm. Glycerin too high up ingredients... even when I put gel or mousse on top I get limp frizz. 😫 Shea moisture. Smells like vomit! Sorry 😬 Made my hair dry and sticky... how’s that? Just no! At the moment trying Bounce curl leave in/curl clump cream plus Pantene curl mousse ( all CG friendly) glycerin not in there. Itvis in the cream gel so gotta experiment. Bounce curl sooo expensive in the UK. But clearly I realise after 1st trial I put on too much.... need to use sparingly. So a little goes a long way. I’d be interested to see a video with you doing Bounce curl if they’d sponsor you? Really like the products but need to source from uk. Still trying to find my holy grail cocktail... I’ll be an OAP before I crack this perfect curls thing on my hair!😰🤣🤣❤️

Cool! Thank you. Very helpful. I think the hair styling cream side is better as well. I think our hair type needs very lightweight moisturising products as opposed to butters as the fine curls can get very weighed down! I checked ingredients, some contain glycerin which seems to be a problem for me. Some of the silicones are water soluble but still not CG approved 😣 Such a pain! But I’m going to look into some of these products. Love your channel thanks 😍

Hi there! Brilliant review and super helpful! Thank you. I’m deffo gonna give these a go too as we have exactly the same hair type. I seem to have a problem with glycerin in products... if it’s too high up in the ingredients list it causes limpness and frizz. 😻

Yay! Glad to see you back making videos! I looked up this product - it is curly girl method approved! However, the second ingredients listed is glycerin and my hair doesn’t perform well with glycerin ... 😝 but I may give it a try anyway. At the moment my hair seems to like Camille Rose butter gel which doesn’t have glycerin. Thank you 🙏❤️
