We are an ensemble of six friends and colleagues in Minnesota that have come together with a shared vision of music.
The power of music to heal and invigorate the soul goes beyond imagination. To those who are exhausted and alone in this whirlwind of year 2020, we hope our music will provide comfort and consolation.

R.Schumann - Piano Quartet in E flat Major op.47, 3rd movement ‘Andante Cantabile’
‘Schumann’s Piano Quartet was written at the time of the happiest days in his life, being newly married. For this reason, I think of this piece as ‘the definition of Schumann’s romance’.
The 3rd movement ‘Andante Cantabile’ contains variations of emotions. Blissfulness in the melody, sorrowfulness but liberation, peacefulness would be few of them among the many. Each instrument expresses their own voice with balance when all four of them blend beautifully as well, which makes this particular music one of my dearest chamber music repertoire.

Even though I'm a violist and love the string parts - 6:28 was one of my favourite bits! That cadenza-like passage was so soloistic, as if the piano never needed the strings in the first place!
