reminds me of a very early Savoy Brown jam that was one of my first introductions to the blues as a kid. Love it.
The early Savoy Brown was one of my favorite blues bands in my youth. Mainly because of lead singer Chris Youlden.
@@GuitarsFirst I feel the same. I was going to mention Youlden in my comment but didn't want to write a book. His voice and piano. Youlden years were definitely their best, only followed them a short time after he left. There was something about hearing that raw, bar-band british blues .. I still listen to CDS of those. having a great time playing with these riffs you posted here.

Hi, yes, the model is ES 175. I looked for the number many years ago, but don't remember the exact date. It was between 1950 and 1960.
@GuitarsFirst Your guitar is 1956 or earlier.After 1956 they all came with humbuckers.

i've been learning guitar and have tried playing to some backing tracks. This basically an Am pentatonic scale playing to backing track right? First time i did this , i was like wow! i'm actually playing something that doesn't sound like mouse turds Lol
Yes, it's mainly the Am pentatonic scale. I added chord tones in bars 9 and 10 to make the melody more interesting.
