    I didn't understand the 8 bluff. I understand that there is no problem in typing illogical number of beads on the top of the building.my question is was 8 typed the total number of beads or no of beads each of them have. And if it was the total no of beads isn't baku supposed to think that suteguma has less less than 8 beads. I don't understand it's whole deal please reply 😭

    • @RN-my4xs
      @RN-my4xs 2 месяца назад

      You are clearly very confused and it is understandable. The game was abut guessing the sum of the no of beads both of them are carrying. Sutegama made H enter 8 coz he knew Marco would see that and tell it to Baku, which will make baku think that the no of beads Sutegama has is definitely less than 8. Hence the numbers guessed by baku in the later rounds were revolving around this assumption but......the twist is that baku knew after the 1st round that 8 was deliberately entered to mislead baku and he himself was misleading sutegama the whole time. That said you need to read some of the chapters (the 2nd and 3rd round) to understand everything clearly.

    Exellent explanation! cleared up a lot! I still have a question though. During I think the fourth round, baku starts eating kariume, signaling things are going as planned, but when lalo doesn't fold, he stops eating it because things were not going as planned. this indicates that baku wanted to go to an endurance battle, even though it is revealed later that he only saved 1 air bios, and lalo's mistake was that he didn't go for that. The Referee also said: "Usogui never saved ANY air bios with oxegen." which is also confusing, as I thought he saved 1. I would be super happy if you have an answer, particularly as to why baku was eating, as the other thing could simply be a mistranslation or something..?

    • @username_kk2177

      I think it's part of the deception to trick Lalo personally. He does it to make it look like Lalo folding is what is what Baku wants, but then fakes the panic when Lalo raises one bio, in order to mask the actual strategy of having the hidden 25 card, i.e. the fact that he has a stronger card.

It feels like a plothole cuz usogui already knew he would lose that round so y didn't he only bet the anti? And fold when lalo bet the extra 2 air bios

    • @log-907

      I think he thought that folding may be the cause of the calamity, not overlapping cards or anything else. if this was the case, it was more bennificial for him to at least avoid that (assuming he didn't speculate about overlapping cards, a hard thing to speculate about, because the law is one deck, but doesn't say anything about when two hands go at the same time.)

We know that he lost his memory so he did not had the memories of his friendship with Baku. @april1st183 Год назад

      @@MadarameJoker I am a bit glad that I recognized the names you mentioned. I also want to know your thoughts about something. You brought up the very good point that there is a certain commonality in the critical thinking abilities that connect the characters. Let's take Tokuchi and Baku for example. I've seen in many places, when people compare them, comments basically saying, "If Baku learned how to throw a baseball, he could take the Lycaons to the championships as well" to which I agree because it's not just about throwing a baseball, but all the psychological warfare that comes with it. But I don't see the same type of respect given to Tokuchi. I don't know if it's because people only remember the anime, but the comments in general basically seem to be of the opinion that, "Tokuchi is not even close to Baku's level. Tokuchi is not even a real gambler, he's just a baseball player who happens to gamble." I don't know, when I read the manga it seemed more so to me that Tokuchi was a gambler first, baseball player second. But more so, like you've said, they both are masters of planting seed and critical thinking, so I thought that Tokuchi would be able to do as well as Baku did, but maybe I am wrong so I would like to hear from you. In your opinion, what are the chances of Tokuchi making it to, and surpassing, the Leader?

    • @MadarameJoker
      @MadarameJoker Год назад

      @@april1st183 I believe the context are too different. For instance, a lot of people see ayanokoji as a super genius, but based on what I watched, I didn't think it was that well written. Usogui has the context of being extremely well written with a lot of foreshadowing so we can understand the actions of the character. What this means is that I dont think comparing is fair. I also dont believe that baku could replicate tokuchi feats. This is because each character are playing at their position of advantage. I personally see Baku as the smartest character I know, maybe because it was that well written. Superficially thinking, I don't think tokuchi would be able to replicate baku's feats, but I also doubt that Baku's could replicate tokuchi's (the dart bet that tokuchi bet his arm, I dont think Baku would risk thar much in a physical gamble). Of course, maybe if the characters were swapped they would learn how to act in similar feats. But my position is to not think too much about comparing them, but to extract the lessons for each of them. Akagi for instance is a character that has too much luck, he risks too much. It was shown that he is a genius and I see it as well written but sometimes it seems he just have "faith". I don't see these moments as feats of critical thinking, but akagi universe is different than usogui and one outs. About the mastery in critical thinking, I recommend the book about critical thinking from Linda Elder. This book is what I plan to use in the next video. I just need some time to write the script and edit
