To find out flux of water vapor in dry and humid air
(i) The flux is calculated considering a "steady state" condition and at a given point of "time".
(ii) Vapor pressure value can be calculated using the Antoine's equation at the given "temperature" of the system.
(iii) If air and water temperatures are different, an arithmetic mean can be taken, and the vapor pressure value is calculated at the average temperature.

Correction: Adiabatic Saturation Temperature, (AST) is on the right-hand side. Thus, Dew point is lower than AST. In the video, the word should have been "besides" and NOT "below". #humidification #coolingtower #chemicalengineering
