Most don't realize that Gordeau knew what was up. He wasn't just a Savate kickboxer. Gordeau knew about the grappling angle. 2 years prior he had been in Japan under the UWF Pro wrestling and had also competed in 2 RINGS Japan free fights. Most also don't know that 1 and 2 months prior to this he had 2 matches in the early K-1 promotions in Japan.

MANY WONDERED WHY HOYCE HELD HIM IN THE REAR NAKED FOR SOOO LONG .WELL 1 THAT GERALD GUY WAS A DIRTY FIGHTER 2 IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY GRACIES RIGHT EAR WAS BLEEDING BECAUSE GERARD BIT HOYCE OUT OF ANGER SO HOYCE TORTURED HIM BY PRETENDING HE DIDNT NOTICE GERARD TAPPING.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

I know Royce says he held the choke so long as retaliation for Gerard biting him, but Royce held chokes long after taps for many and they all weren't biting him.

Gracie jiujitsu doesnt directly come from any jujutsu it literally came from Judo. Maeda was a Kodokan Judo black belt and never studied any jujutsu. Look up Red Dragon Diaries Kosen Judo training. Kosen rule set Judo is literally the type of early judo the Gracie's learned and rebranded.

One day, Gracie will be begging for mercy and I hope that person shows him none. He has a bad habit of not letting people go when they tap even after the ref has told him to let go. He still continues to hold on.

Royce a brilliant jj student and then master and showed it with his wins, but standing up and going toe to toe is a different story. Mma was great for him and his fam. Made sense he was so successful in the sport. If he had to stand and fight though thats not his game, but hed survive and win almost any street fight. If its 1 v 1

Gracie didn't fight the top karate guys. They picked and chose who fights Gracie. The cage is specially built to favour bjj. In UFC 3 the Championship was won by a striker. Gracie was too beaten up to continue the fight. Check Bill "Superfoot" Wallace and the Gracie UFC Conspiracy video.
