And it's hard to understand his wordplay and lyricism so I would appreciate it if you could find lyric videos with accurate lyrics one channel I would suggest is "Dorian Gray" but that channel only has live performances which you could react to as well as he's known for his amazing performances. This was a great perspective of the song but thankfully it did not turn out to be about the dad. This diss track was about one of the members in DPR. DPR REM or Scott stole money from DPR IAN and DPR LIVE in their last tour that they had together. I’m pretty sure he stole more money from Live than Ian and hence why he’s now suing Scott (DPR REM). Dabin loves his father dearly since I believe he’s the only blood family he has left (I might be wrong on that I’m not too informed on Dabin’s whole bloodline) and so him saying “I can finally smile for my father” is I believe him finally being able to take care of his father financially. Also the phone call I’m pretty sure it is Dabin talking idk it sounds a lot like him to me. I loved your video tho, I was super confused when I first heard it too.

It’s speculated that this song is about DPR REM who was a manager(?) or producer in dpr way back from what i call, around when he was just known as “live” but DPR REM is apparently known to be shady apparently and people are saying that he took a lot of money from DPR (probably more specifically DPR Live) who added that clip at the end to show who exactly he was taking money from

You were right about Christian/Ian making this video. If you take a look at the credit/title card ( 1:35 ) you'll see that he wrote and produced this song, as well as directed and edited the whole thing himself (as he has with all of his works). He also still is the "visual" department of DPR. Also there is a whole universe and through line in all of his works, which a lot of the other comments have touched on. With the new album that he released, "Dear Insanity", 'Don't Go Insane' is actually a prequel to 'So I Danced', so you watched them in the right order, but if you want more context they also released a 'Don't Go Insane' trailer that precedes this MV. (Also, in your list of reactions for him I didn't see the 'MIITO Movie'; that was a huge project from his last album and is where a lot of this current storyline gets introduced).

It's not been mentioned below, but Ian (Christian) was a K-POP member in his early days, but left that scene and started creating his own music/art. So, some of the choreography may be reminiscent of K-POP.

Dpr Ian has bi polar disorder and he portrays it in his music videos and songs! He has created so far 2/3 characters: MITO, Mr. Insanity and The Green! MITO represents his lows, his dark moments and all his dark memories. You can recognize him by how dark and mysterious he is (he also doesn't have one eye). As dark as MITO is Christian describes him as the protector of his mind. MITO basically tries to protect Christian from his bad memories and from harming himself. MITO is the main topic of Dpr Ian first 2 albums ( "Moodswings in this Order" and "Moodswings into Order"). You will also see him in all his music videos Mr. Insanity basically represents Christian's manic highs. You will recognize him very easily because he's very colorful and bright. He basically displays Christians impulsive decisions, he's very unapologetic of his actions and doesn't think about how it will affect Ian. This is also why Ian himself said that although MITO is a lot darker and looks a lot more scary, Mr. Insanity is actually a lot more dangerous. Mr. Insanity is introduced for the first time in his song "Mr. Insanity" in his album "Moodswings into Order" but we see him in a music video for the first time in Peanut Butter & Tears ( and then also in "So I danced" and this mv) The Green is the guy in green lmao, we don't know much about him yet (We've only see him in his last 2 music videos) From what we've seen so far Mr Green looks like someone who helps Ian out but at the same time goes along with the chaos. We really don't know yet.

You were right in the end when you said it has to be 2 different personalities since I don't think you follow the storyline he explained in an instagram live that in addition of having Bipolar disorder he also has DID which means : Dissociative identity disorder in short he has multiple personalities.. in this mv we saw Mr. Insanity the guy with the blond hair and in So I danced the guy at the end who finished the song was Mito they all are different from each other in every aspect Mito even has a deeper voice comparing to Ian
