Coup de Chance Review -- Extended Clip 291
Просмотров 1289 месяцев назад
The longest wait between films in the career of Woody Allen is over, and Coup de Chance has been released in select US theaters. What might be Allen’s final film is his first non-English effort, while said language is the element of cinema he may have had the most control over throughout his filmography. What happens when an already-deteriorating filmmaker is stripped of their greatest tool? Th...

Refound this from the top 50 movies of the decade article. Keep up the great work that was a great list
I read a number of Dan Jenkins' book, and this rendition, dare I say it was "Dead Solid Perfect", Originally a movie made for HBO, it disappeared for a number of years. This movie has it all... the golf is real, the relationships are real, and it's a great mix of reality and comedy. Thank you so much for sharing.
I woke up this morning thinking about this movie that I haven't seen in over 30 years. Thanks for posting it. It was as good as I remembered.
Randy Quaid. actor and American Patriot. Kate Capshaw great until she married Steven Pedofile Spielberg. What a waste
I love this movie. I have it on VHS which I bought when it was released. THANKS FOR DOWNLOADING IT
Emma Stone is not in To Rome with Love.. and she is appears in one Woody Allen film... just had to point that out.
thank you, had a brainfart where she absolutely existed in that movie. i must have double featured that and Irrational Man back in the day...
Even back then liberals could not learn how to be happy.. is ex-wife is despicable.
This is like movies I used to watch all the time. If this movie was made today it would be 4 hours long, all the characters would perfect looking Australians or fat black women. The racists in the story would be hung at the end and the main fat black woman's rival would be a white Russian man. Also all the golf shots would be CGI. And the sets.
Panderverse for sure. Tell Randy Quaid would have to be in a dress and act like a woman saying that he's trans for him to star in a movie like this today
👏
Live sports is the only TV that matters Good shit
I love that Keith Olbermann is an elitist prick as the color commentator as he is in real life.
33:00...for fans of Ms Corinne Bohrer
interesting interview you guys. wish there could have been a video to this or closed captions
Gene Sarazen almost DQ's Kenny Lee
Janie is what we all are looking for....
I would prefer a woman who didn’t bang other guys while dating me
Does she cheat on him? I havent got that far@@CSAcrazy
Big
Hell yes
let's go boys!
I feel like Tin Cup took a lot from this movie
I'm going to watch that probably next
Good movie funny but charming
Funny movie
There are so many questions I wish you'd asked from him about The Empty Man story but I assume you're more focused on the visuals and cinematography in general.
Holy shit. The scene of the first hole at Colonial when Jack Warden hits Corrine in the breast. I wonder if that was an accident, or if it was scripted. She rolled with it like a pro, but man, that was unexpected.
Just like me you were paying so much attention to her breasts
God, it's so good to see Dan Jenkins' words in the mouths of great actors.
Great Book by Dan Jenkins and Great Movie
Damn what's the movie that was stolen from him?
I stole this movie from a video store i worked at once .. Then lost it... Easy come.. Easy go. Its not on dvd and vhs is gone... And I'm not having a clunker on a shelf for one movie...but this one is almost worth it. Had to watch it on RUclips in parts before. Im incredibly glad this one is in its entirety. Should have done it years ago! Thanks again. Its over of the best.
Fuck a Deer running across the Fway, Fuck Palm Springs, Fuck Me!!! Only Golf can exude that kind of emotion. Then your back at it the next day.
Thanks for the post.
I realize this is probably what happened in the novel this is based on, but he's got no chemistry with Kathryn Harrold, and massive chemistry with Corinne Bohrer. And since I don't give a shit about golf, that means I lose interest after the big sex scene with the ice and Corinne's breasts. Which if we're being honest, is what most guys look for this one for. Thanks for doing such a nice transfer, ec.
"Fuk you and everything you stand for....." -Bad Hair Wimberly
2nd best golf movie ever (behind Caddyshack), and a plot that was obviously stolen by the 'not nearly as good' Tin Cup. Thank you for posting. Sound quality and picture is better than my bootleg dvd I bought online. Good job
Everything about tin cup is better than this movie. The nostalgia factor has you blinded. It's not funny at all and the story is dog shit.
@@shawn77217 It's not supposed to be funny, just good. Kevin Costner is arguably the worst actor to ever hit the screen and Rene Russo... don't even get me started. Nothing about Tin Cup is better than this movie... nothing.
“Dead Solid Perfect” is based on a book by Dan Jenkins; very loosely based, I might add, and it was first published 22 years before “Tin Cup”came out. The movie is just OK; the book is so much better.
They don’t make em like jannie anymore!😮
Best movie
One of the best golf movies ever. Top 3, easily.
That's because you only know 3 golf movies. I only know 4 golf movies not counting Caddyshack sequels and counting Happy Gilmore.
Your comment made me stick around. I really love the legend of bagger Vance. Lol
There's literally a RUclips video of the top 15 best golf movies. How do you know he hasn't seen that already?@@protocoldroid7388
Still waiting for that "Panic Room" bluray.
Dddddfddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddfddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddfffffffdddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd DDC ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddx dad
Just came after watching The autopsy from Cabinet of curiosities.Such an amazing episode David. 👍👍
I see ... this is a video that tried to be as cool as the Color of Money. Gotcha.
Corinne Bohrer. Lord have mercy. Kathryn Harrold can get it too, and the actress who played Donnie's wife.
The books much better than the movie but movie is pretty good.
"Instead of hitting golf shots, they're out there looking like a hound dog shitting peach seeds!" -Bad Hair
Tangerine dream's fantastic electronic ambient score!🎹
Thanks for posting this. Can't believe it's not available on disc. Best golf movie ever!
32:58 She's 30
I'm here because of the music, by TANGERINE DREAM. Fabolous, if only snapshots ..
Shady Creek has to be Shady Oaks in real life, right? Also a famous Fort Worth course.
It's great to hear an intelligent conversation about In Praise of Love. I saw it fifteen years ago when I was in my early 20's and it made such an impression on me.
33:00 - 33:53. As many times as I have spent a night in a hotel or motel I have done this myself on numerous occasions I've spent a night there, but I've NEVER YET seen anyone else do it.
I admire Corinne Bohrer for having the guts to do it.
Love the golf swing from Mac
Warden was great in this
Considering he was lampooning Trump.
