I am Dr. Muhammad Imdad Ullah and I am currently working as Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Statistics, in Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan. I also worked in Government College University, Faisalabad and Virtual University of Pakistan.
The purpose of the "Statistics Help" Channel is to promote the subject of Statistics. It is also tried to explain the statistics in such a way that student can understand it easily. The examples related to real-life are also provided for illustration purpose.
Different Statistical Software (such as SPSS, and R) are also demonstrated for different computational statistics. I am also trying to demonstrate more software.

Pointless video. The entire point of video is to show interactivity. This video would have been 10 times more effective simply posted on a web page since there is no demonstration of interactivity or further audio explantions.

How do I deal with a 10 point Likert scale in SPSS? I asked them to rate the seriousness of a certain image, where 1 was 'least serious' and 10 was 'most serious'. Thank you!
10 point likert scale data is entered in same way as of five point scale data. If you have labelled each point then you can also put these points in as value labels through variable view.

It was something like this: How serious do you consider the behaviour in this image? 1 = least serious 10 = most serious 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 And I have another similar scale: Rate your feelings towards this person. 1 = not at all 7 = a great deal Anger 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 HELP please
Labels are not the issue as you have to either analyze the score of the likert scale or have to compute the relevant descriptive statistics.
@@statisticshelp But to compute them, don't I have to put them in SPSS first? All the 10 points? How do I do that if they don't have a label? I have to do define variable and then put in the points but only the numbers 1 and 10 have names :(

Age group is qualitative variable. Group variables are either nominal or ordinal variables.

Consider the following code. You have to use text() function. x<-rnorm(10) y<-rnorm(10) plot(x, y) text(x=1, y=1, paste("mean=", round(mean(x), 3) )) text(x=1, y=1, paste("cor=", round(cor(y, x), 3) ), 2) You need to adjust the values of x and y according to your x-axis and y-axis scaling.
