Walking tour from Wallraffplatz (next to the Cathedral Kölner Dom) though the Old Town till the Rhine Promenade with the cruise ship and excursion ship pier.
The "WDR Café" (aka Funkhaus Café) at the Wallraffplatz is a perfect café to have a coffee with good service.
The "Früh am Dom" is one of the traditional breweries with restaurant where you should try the typical "Kölsch" beer with a traditional german dish. The waiters are called "Köbes" which you will find only in one of the old brewery restaurants. It's an experience!

Are those the queues for the boat trips?
Hi, yes, they all want to go on the boat trip. But this is not the regular 1h panorama boat tour. It is a Sunday special trip with breakfast buffet and goes between Cologne south and north about 3 hours. Usually with a boat called RheinEnergy. It's a really nice boat trip with good breakfast. We like to do it with visitors. BTW- We have a new channel and are happy for every subscriber. :) Shortly we will post new videos from the beautiful island Sylt, the uttermost north german island.

No, the one hour tour queue is much shorter. The boats also leave here. You will have no problem. It is also a really nice boat trip. A MUST when you stay in Cologne. 😊
