My daughter was diagnosed at age two and three quarters and survived exactly 2 years. Her tumours had already spread all the way down her spine. She had a laminectomy , but nothing could be removed. When she had healed, radiation was performed and the 6 months of chemotherapy therapy. The spine was cleared and ventricle but the cancer had spread outside the spine. Our Neurosurgeon in Wellington New Zealand was Dr. Balakrishnan from Sri Lanka. What a wonderful gentleman. He performed one more laminectomy to understand why her symptoms had returned. It was then discovered she had 11 days to live. 😢😢😢😢

Thanks for high quality lecture! Can i ask a question? There are some resistance mutations in alk gene for example. Since you sequence alk gene anyway to find breaking points, can you also identify resistance mutations to alk inhibitors? Will it go to the final report?
