My dad died of this 10 yrs ago. Had every test known to man and Drs couldn’t find out why he’d lost so much weight. Had all cancer tests done and all came back negative. A Dr who had seen these symptoms before in another country did a liver biopsy and it showed up positive for Amyloydosis Found out he had it October 8th 2014 by November 6th he died. Me hicieron una 2a biopsia y se determinó que tengo amiliodosis primaria. Actualmente estoy en tratamiento de quimioterapia ya llevó 10 sesiones. Y me están programando para transaplante de médula osea. Tengo 52 anos ya con marcapasos por la hipertrofia septal asimetrica izquierda. Y ya mis riñones están arrojando proteínas.
