We bought a 1997 TJ that had no working gauge cluster, no ac, and no radio and we blindly drove it 1300 miles across the country and we made it!

Everything is harder in the rain - Cougar Crossing Badge of Honor Trail
Cougar Crossing, a new Badge of Honor Trail in Souther Missouri Off-road Ranch (SMORR). It had rained all morning making the rocks very slippery. We attempted Cougar Crossing but took a wrong turn down a slippery rock slide. The trail was supposed to be a three, but the rain made it a 4-5. The first Jeep almost rolled into a tree. The second Jeep, we had to winch down the hill. The Gladiator in the back was tied down to a tree to keep it from sliding down the hill too. Everyone made it down safely and it was a great story to tell.

Adult slip and slide
Cool video but I think this is the trail next to cc that’s rated higher
Sometimes you have to give it a little bump
50k jeep still cant afford weather tech seat covers😂😂😂😂😂
It's on the Christmas list this year don't worry!
That’s tire smoke, like an off road tiny burnout
Useless
@@Chris1980436 what is? Lockers?
You need a Gx470
Trade it in 4G wagon 🤷🏿♂️
@@LynvilleScott oh I wish
Bet that road is the roughest that jeep has ever seen.
You'd lose that bet
Bet you didn’t look at the rest of the channel before saying that
Love the twin winch points for control- there was a tree just to the right of the Jeep and this kept us on track.
Makes ya wonder , 🤔 What's the use of buying a 4 wheel drive ?
Haha yea fair point. Jeeps are meant to get dirty
No scratches on jeep also.yups...
Oh there are plenty of scratches! Check out some of the other videos
You can see some damage to the rockers in this video...
If only it were dry
Georgi needs clean paws! Sometimes it’s not about the Jeep hahaha
Georgi first jeep second of course haha
It always looks so much easier on camera
4x4s should have front cameras focused on the road in front of the tires.
So you drove your Jeep up a trail did ya? Tough stuff
Well we can’t do Hell’s Gate everyday
Love those little whines
It’s always easy when until it starts raining. Comparing that JL on 37’s to our bone stock TJ it was pretty obvious we weren’t going to make it lol
Yea the Tj did not do well
See the problem is you you can't wheel. My subura would of made it up my jeep would of idled up it
Aww cute you have a Subaru! They make great runabouts when they’re not blowing head gaskets
Okay thanks 😊
Subaru invented 4WD. Too bad they didn’t figure out solid axles, lockers etc.
@@seanritchie7042 soild axel is only good for towing and exstream offroad. When it comes locker no subura failed with there limited slip I had an sti limited slip diff quickly destroyed it but torq locker now they male a soild locker. I run there lockers front and rear only issue you go throw axels every 15k if you're lifted. Now that i took the lift off im not chewing up so bad its definitely not recommended front and rear lockers on a daily but if you do stupid shit often go remote places and travel through 20 inches of snow without chains. Go for it best 800 bucks I've ever spent but apparently the biggest nightmare for the rear diff(paid for rear diff front was a btch) according to the offroad shop
The first jeep nearly rolled. This video does not do this justice. Two side by sides actually did roll a little later, hill looks like a joke but was not
Winch down a hill?
Yea it helps keeps you stable so the Jeep doesn’t roll. It was raining that day so the tires didn’t have good traction and would have just slid off the drop
In a two door Jeep it basically prevents the short wheelbase from sliding to the side (like the one before me did) or taking too steep an angle. With the tree right in front there was little choice. Later that night the SMORR team told us “you should never have been in that part of the trail” and we were all able to laugh about it.
I don’t know how we ended up there
That would be your navigators fault - me!
The jeeps before almost rolled into a tree. Definitely a hard trail after it rained
My atv would have done been up that and gone at this rate
Bump bump scrape scape, these are the sounds Gladiators make!
Little mountain goats playing in the rain
Moab Hill in the rain always makes things interesting
The rooftop tent makes things a bit more interesting
They had such a cool harness for him
A Jeep does make a cool harness
Oh wow. A small hill.
I know cool right!
That section right before this was very tippy
The section right before was so scary!
I hope we have another angle somewhere
I don’t think we do. Everyone was too scared to move
Looks like your having fun!!
Having so much fun!
The video is like in slow motion compared to witnessing this firsthand! Video doesn’t do it justice honestly!
Oh I know. I feel like my life flashed before my eyes
In Mountain Biking we used to say “Save the steel, the flesh will yield!” Doesn’t apply to a 5000 lbs off road monster
Yea haha I think the steel and flesh are one entity in the scenario
Definitely well handled by the driver! Nerves of Steel! But good call out on the hand.
That’s true, if you’re planning on Sandy Bottoms! There are more demanding (and fun) places accessible with continued customization of course 😊
Always a blast to be off the pavement no matter what
Another day another Jeep splashing in the water
I think this proves that you don’t need a really expensive jeep to go out and have a really fun off road adventure
So True
That’s a fun hill. It’s grippy like Moab too …mostly
Clunk Bang - that’s the sound Gladiators make hahaha!
@@seanritchie7042 HAHA and loud scrapping noises
“You’re lead Gladiator now!” Said Maximus NEVER hahaha
That MetalCloak suspension just eats up that hill!
I would’ve preferred that bunny hill side!
Haha these people are serious! Haha
It’s so slippery when it’s raining
My mothafuqin rwd ranger can do that 😂
It's a ford feckin ranger
Shaken like the jackrabbit!
Kennywood? My Pittsburgh locals
Love the steel city!
Woot woot! Burgher’s get around!
