I just downgraded to the 5700x3d it’s awesome for tarkov lol
For some reason i have the same cpu but it run worse (avg 50-60 fps) :(
Game settings?
надо было в 2к тестить
Hello nice video. Did you have on SMT for these pve raids? I notice with SMT on I get better frames in pve but in pvp SMT off is better.
I do not touch multithreading feature for tarkov. I just leave it as it is
i basically have the same setup and average 60-80 fps on streets. i dont understand
not playing at 1440p, aren't you?
@@bipolarraptor7681 i play 1080p
@@bipolarraptor7681 im playing 1080p
i guess you get more fps without recording right?
It depends on which software you are using. I use Radeon Adrenalin in my videos, I loose about 3 to 5 fps at most. Some software will take more though.
thank you
nice opne! the 6700XT has a higher vram buffer, 12gb vs 8gb to the 3070, but in practice they go neck and neck. true for the 3060TI as well.
Yes, the difference is minimal (within margin of error). The most important factor will be your cpu
sorry but bad comparison, throughout the video your character is in different locations which can cause you to have lower/higher frames.
The idea is to compare both gpus in online raids. Can't do a side to side comparison in online raids. Only way is in offline raid
Will 5700x3d be able to handle average 70+- fps with optics (double render hell) in streets? Or it's only possible with 7800x3d?)
I don't use scope much. You might loose some fps in Streets, even with an X3D chip. It will definitely do better than a lesser L3 cache ship though
we have the exact same rig, the one with 6700xt, and I get less frames on streets especially in building interiors, it goes down to 60, what could be the issue?
wait a sec im stupid, im on 2k actually, my bad

I use MSI Afterburner for cpu and gpu metrics
CPU cooler?
In that video, I still had the amd stock cooler installed. I recently changed the cooler
I have 5600x with same specs like u but 3600mhz ram have big stutters with 90fps u know why?
what resolution are you playing at? How much ram?
"X3D" has more L3 cache memory than just "X", which is very important in Tarkov
how i have 60fps...
bro, my config is a ryzem 7 57003xd, rtx 4060 and 32gb ram 3600 mhz, do you think I can have the same performance that your config had in streets of tarkov?
Definitely! You can even use DLSS for a boost in performance
I have your setup and I cant get 60 constant fps on streets...just tested today

do you advice this cpu still? im gonna play with cs2 and i have 5600 cpu and it cant handle cs2 would you still upgrade?
5600 is a more than enough cpu for gaming, it will handle anything at 1080p. I would upgrade to a 5700X3D or 5800X3D only for Tarkov. But the 5600 can handle Tarkov no problem, except for the map Streets.

Glad it helped!

Seems you have some GPU headroom available. Could be able to turn up some settings and not see much of an FPS hit. I know 1080p is more CPU heavy, might want to try getting your GPU usage higher with some adjustments. My 5600 XT is at a 99% usage at 1440p Low settings, 5800x3D sits at 20% usage. Getting 80FPS on Reserve, 50FPS on Streets in Low Texture mode. Good video, hard to find Tarkov benchmarks.
I do, but the it won't change massively. Plus what ever I do, I always get stutters and dips in Streets, when Kaban is firing his weapon, or the BTR is close. Maybe I should move on to 1440p to get full use of my GPU. Another thing is every new update patch, the games feels worse than before, and a ret-weak is needed
@@bipolarraptor7681 Are frame drops and stuttering referring to the 5700x3d? I experience frame drops with the 3600, and the experience is quite poor. Is it necessary to switch to the 5700x3d? Please give me your opinion, thank you.
@@bugdemo664 it is more stable with an X3D chip. But again, Streets of Tarkov is a poorly optimized map. My 5600X was performing quite well in the other maps. If you play Streets a lot, an X3D chip will make a lot of difference.
I run Ryzen 5 5600 with a 4060ti, should i increase the resolution with the subsampling? Cuz Mu monitor is 1080p and i always get fps drops
@@rafaelandrade07 You should always play with your monitor's resolution. 4060ti 16GB or 8GB? FSR or DLSS already does a good job handling a lower resolution for more fps. I would play on high texture
What are these temps you have 😮😮😮
I have same setup but i'm getting like 30-40 fps at SOT WUUUT!?
with lowest graph settings
@@Mawarewks Try with higher Texture settings, medium to high. Same with Shadows. It will force the gpu to more work instead of using mainly the cpu. To be fair, since this last update, Streets feels worse performance wise
And the settings on amd adrenaline??
Sharpness - 70 Color Temp - 6400 Brightness - 25 Contrast - 90 Saturation - 120 AMD Freesync ON Radeon Anti-lag ON That's pretty much it. The rest is on default settings.
is this overclocked ? mine is 4.875 ghz and it doesn't even come close to those temps even in a stress test (5600x)
The 5600X was slightly overclocked. Temps were always around 70 and 85 C since I bought it. Never had a problem with it. It is a bit high, but again, the chip is made to withstand those kind of temps. The chip is cooled with the standard amd cooler.
So glad there's folks like you making these spec demos videos. Makes it easy for noobs like me to see visual results. Just knocked $100 off my build
Glad to know it helped👍
temps are pretty high
They are, but the CPU can handle it. use to run the 5600X at +80 Celcius and never had any problems with it. I tried undervolting the 5700X3D with PBO and the temps were definitely lower, but the system was unstable and during heavy cpu loads, the pc would just reboot automatically by itself. The mobo maybe couldn't handle it. Now running the 5700X3D without any tweaks and the system is pretty stable. Didn't get any shutdown since.
Do you lagg while shooting with the 5600x? i seem to lagg always but game is stable when there is no shooting
In Streets, with the 5600X, some lag during high action moments, but that is fps drops, and it is also the game. That map is poorly optimized. It could also be lack of memory (VRAM or RAM). This doesn't occur with the 5700X3D.
Building the same as my first PC. Would a 6700xt gpu or 5800x3d cpu be a more worthwhile upgrade? See you're using the 6700xt now and mentioned the x3d.
Also 3600 RAM
@@some-repliesThe 5800X3D will give you a slightly better performance than the 5700X3D, and might have higher temps, so you will need a better cooler. The 5800X3D remains a great chip for gaming though. Choosing between the 5700X3D or the 5800X3D will depend on the price difference. Upgrading from 6600 to 6700XT is a worthwhile upgrade, but again, it depends on what kind of games you play, at which resolution. 6600 for 1080p is more than enough.
For Escape From Tarkov, 6600 and 5600X is enough for 1080p in medium to low settings (except for the map Streets of tarkov). If you want to upgrade having in mind Tarkov, upgrade your CPU. Those X3D chips work very will with that game.
@@bipolarraptor7681appreciate your reply. Seems the consensus is get a beefy CPU and upgrade GPU as needed. Mostly plan on running last gen & 360 games but tarkov seems like good stress test benchmark. 1080p 60/120fps is plenty for, pop in is my main problem with playing on console currently. They gimp our settings for so squeeze out resolution
Have you tried PBO2 tuner undervolting? would be nice to see comparison!
I have, but for some reason, the system gets unstable, and under load (gaming), the PC just shuts down and restarts by itself. Without PBO tuning, it's stable.
X3D chips dont take too well to PBO2 with zen3 vs zen4...any "+additive/reductive" soc/voltage activity affects ram/timings too...and causes crashes. IMO its not that necessary...more ideal for getting the 7800x3d to touch/see tdp activity of a 5700x3d. IMO thermals shouldnt be an issue with these since they arent desigend to OC based on cooling/ceiling. Leaving the SOC/voltage free from harm degradation furthered to ram(considering budget ram is even viable) chipset and vrm...hell even PSU health.
eft is so cpu dependent you would likely get the same results with a 1070 or 5500xt but thanks for the video just building this combo as my spare pc
True. GPU is not that important for EFT as long as you have a good CPU. Those X3D chips are doing wonders with this game
is cpu and gpu good? i want to play games like cyberpunk, rdr2, elden ring in max settings 1080p or 1440p res. without no fps drop
It should be enough for 1080p. I am not sure on 1440p. Maybe lowering some settings, and playing at 30fps. But not sure as I don't play those games. RX 6600 and Ryzen 5600 is a solid combo for 1080p
If you still have the same rig, could you try these changes? - Set texture to low and shadows to low since you have 16GB of RAM only - Enable the automatic RAM cleaner option, in raid you can clear your ram by pressing Escape button to open the menu in case you noticed that your RAM is almost full - Do not use FSR, you are currently experiencing a CPU bottleneck where you are reaching a 50% load of CPU and 50% on GPU, you should aim to offload more work to your GPU so disable FSR and set AA to TAA, you could also experiment with enabled the option of 'Use only physical cores' Please let me know if this will help
Thanks for the help. I actually upgraded my PC, put 32GB of RAM, and a few weeks back, installed an RX 6700 XT. Even with only upgrading to 32GB RAM kit, it made a massive difference and stutters were gone. Now, I do not enable FSR anymore. Texture to medium, Game runs smooth, except for Streets, which is a mess.

I upgraded to RX 6700 XT since. Haven't tried Gamma or EFP. Might do it in the future. Gamma is better optimized I believe, so you should get a better performance.

This test is somewhat..incorrect since at the end you become RAM constrained. Tarkov can use up all 16+ so..having ram this full will in and of itself CAUSE stutter as the CPU now has to work to read/write to page file constantly
Funny how the same set-up can deal with graphically demanding games like Cyberpunk at 1080p with ease, but not with this "eternally early access" game.
