Part 2: if you saw the laundry list of issues I covered in Part 1 with the Arc'Teryx Vertex Alpine, you're probably asking: WHY ON EARTH am I putting up with this shoe!?!
The answer is very simple: when I say, "PERFORMANCE SUPERSTARS, NO BULLSHIT", I mean it - i.e. Arc'Teryx's Vertex Alpine is the ONLY OTHER SHOE I've ever set foot in to have ***outdone my LEGENDARY (but discontinued) approach shoe: none other than the Five Ten Camp Four.
***As noted in this video, the Camp Four is the HANDS DOWN WINNER (in terms of grip on solid rock), but the Vertex Alpine NOTABLY BETTERS the Camp Four in terms of not one, but TWO critical performance features:
1. Better Traction
2. More "Honest" Footfall ...
