New Gear Needs to be Baked in the Oven
Просмотров 93821 день назад
I got a new piece of gear that I have been looking for, for YEARS. I finally found it and after two months of waiting for it to arrive, it's finally here! The weirdest thing is that in order for it to be fully ready to use, you have to bake it in the oven... To Support on Patreon: bit.ly/4eCPHN5 For Daily Updates: kevdoesinsta

I do it with speaker play the most weird music it makes people look at you weird so you run faster because people are looking at you
Probably true for most people but I feel like I'm in my head too much, gotta take a break and enjoy the music with the sight seeing.
Fuck that. My tinnitus is too loud.
Definitely a mentally weak thing to do, I have been struggling with anxiety for a while now. I thought music was helping, but in reality it was the ability to “procrastinate” on the conversations I needed to have with myself. I’m starting to learn that exercise and the outdoors has been helping.
Im too scared to be out here with both ears plugged up!
Amen!!!!
Yes - definitely agree!
No head phones...unless you insist on playing your crappy music full blast 😂
THIS!!
Says the guy literally on the phone on the bike.
Absolutely agree. We are way too dependent on driving everywhere. I now walk my son to school. When we first started everyone would ask us “ why are you walking to school” my response is because we can. We talk about silly things, important things like situational awareness and I point out bugs we see on the way. I only have one more year till he goes to a school that is too far to walk too. 😫 we all need to get back to moving around on our own. We may one day need to walk somewhere very far and 99% of people could not make it. I also believe our unwillingness to walk more is why so many people are on so many medications.
Or go with other people and talk to them😅
You need a high volume air pump like the JoeBlow Booster floor pump
This was an extreme case, but I usually get it with just this basic floor pump
@@KevDoes I've learned some wild lessons with trying to inflate tubeless tires. 😅😅😅
So good! Amazing how even a little does a lot.
It's so true!
Hey Kevin I shared this video with my cycling group. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for sharing! Hope it helps!
Hey it’s me kash I’d didn’t know you got sponserd
Hey Kash! Yeah I did!
Hey Kevin it’s me your nephew kash I think black panther would be better
Hey Kash! That would be a pretty good choice!
All about the gear choices! I've been car free for almost 11 years works for me!❤
Really?! And where do you live?
@KevDoes i was in Portland Oregon, moved to Philly almost 2 yrs ago. Riding in Philly is harder, very car centric city.
First dude
✊🏼
Went to my first match as well at that same place! Shot texas stars for the first time and it was SOOOOO tough lol. Will be going to more it’s very fun. Great video!
The Texas star put me in my place haha. That was amazingly difficult but a good timr
i’m saving for the YT Jeffsy core 5
That’s so exciting!
I shot an IDPA match once. It was about a total of 10 minutes of shooting and hours of waiting and pasting targets. No thanks.
Interesting. Too big of a group?
Great sound edit 😂
Thank you!
I see an air compressor sponsorship in your future.
Hahaha amen to that
What an amazing review! A lot of problems were highlighted. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
@@KevDoes Have you tried any of Tailfin bags?
Use c02 or air compressor to bead the tire
👌🏼
I have a mountain bike that has tubeless. It’s pretty nice never fix a plate on it. It’s great.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Tubeless is pretty awesome
I like having tubeless for the puncture part, but hate trying to seat that bead. You really need a compressor or one of those floor pumps that has a tank. Even then you still might not get them to pop in. Some tires are definitely easier than others.
Some are definitely easier than others
So tell me again why tubeless is better? 😅
CuZ iTs CuLeRr 😅
Thanks for a great video! Am a donut lover too so am now inspired to both try the ride and hit up that donut shop.
Yesss you should!
Do you have a code for "Lost Dog"? Plan to make a purchase. 😄
That’s a strong camera
Right?? DJI to the rescue!
You're performing bike surgery. 😅
Don't touch me im sterile 🤣
Lol!! "She's like, "this is hard"! And leaves. 😂😂😂
hahaha
On my current CX/gravel bike, which also doubles up as my commute and winter bike I have the S Works pathfinder on the front and considering a 38 pro on the back when the current tyre wears out as the frame won’t take a 42mm so another s works is out. Would this be a good setup? Both run tubeless which is an absolute must for me. It’s really interesting how Specialized spec the pro and not the s works tyre on the s works crux build bikes.
so are you saying two different-sized tires in front and back?
Just get an air compressor bro 😭
maybe I should 😅
I have no words 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Dji has a great warranty, if you bought it.
Even if I didn't get the coverage?
@@KevDoes well they do have a good limited warranty, I would still check on it and see if they can do anything for you
Smh such an amateur lol
🫡
6 in a row, ANIMAL! no reason to bike today got all your cardio in
FOR REAL 😅
This is why I still haven't converted over. 😬
This is worst-case scenario lol. If I weren’t lazy and would’ve removed the old sealant it always seats for me with no issues
😂😂 I see what you mean 😂😂
Hahaha
I subbed your vids are great
Thank you and welcome!
Awesome video, only have 1 question how many of them seated the first time?
Check out the video that I just posted and it should answer that question beautifully lol
Bro I’m switching from 700/32 to 700/28 what tire you recommend for road bike?
oh man so many questions that I have: 1. why you going smaller tire? 2. What surfaces will you be riding? 3. How often do you ride? 4. What tires do you currently use?
Your contenta Is so good why Aren't you famous?
I’m so honored, thank you!
Cool short
Thank you!
Did you ever upload the new video with the proper FTP test? You’re IMO 250+ FTP. Curious what it came back as - also good effort !
No not yet! Thank you for the reminder!
You got this!
Kev I saw your short in the tree stand and had a question. have you ever used your bike when out at the stand or for just covering ground in the backcountry? I bought a trailer to keep my bow/pew safe with my day bag.
I’ve only tried once, but the extra hassle wasn’t worth it for me. Carrying the bike + a stand, sticks, and bow was too much
Helmet Bibs / must have Clips/or pedals they will fix your posture and make sitting more comfortable seems like when I added clips a lot of the discomfort got fixed .
Good tips!
