Yo I just wanted to say, love the reaction and appreciate you checking out RPWP. Not gonna lie, I'm not a big BTS fan or even huge Kpop fan, but this album really caught me off guard. Think I listened to it on a whim from some online post, and was really pleasantly surprised. Loved the themes he explores in this album and I think it's super important that huge idols/figures in music promote real artistry instead of radio bullshit. That being said, yo you gotta tone down the dickriding like damnnnnnn ahahahaha bouncing on that meat. You seem genuine so I'm not tryna shade but like nahhh you way too turnt for this. Respectfully. You mentioned something about looking for more alternative korean artists, and while I can't think of many more projects or albums sounding like this, I do have to give a huge shoutout to the k-indie scene, the creativity there is like what you wouldn't believe. Do consider checking out some of the projects there --- I'll list a couple below that I absolutely 10/10 recommend --- you won't regret it bruh Trust. It was me, I’m the Balming Tiger recommender (bc I’m obsessed lol) thought you’d like them! They’re fun and weird and help encapsulate the feeling of “sick and tired of working all the time” lol Fun fact: the guy he talks to in the MV is San Yawn, a founder and producer of BT and helped write and produce RM’s Right Place, Wrong Person. I’m Sick is another sick (lol) track from their earlier stuff (I’m all up in the weird alt side of Korean music lol 😅

I must say, when RM dropped Come Back to Me as a pre-release, i wasn't vibing with it either. But if you listen to the album from top to bottom non-stop....it fits perfectly to the album! The beginning of the album makes you feel a little uncomfortable. RM even said to listen to the first track thinking about being in your workplace that you feel out of place at. That feeling continues until mid-way and then he slightly calms your nerves. By the last track "come back to me", he completely soothes you and then let's you leave with your mind and soul at peace. what a masterpiece! as everyone has said here, this album is an ARTISTIC MASTERPIECE!!! it is a shame it's not getting the love it deserves from the fandom and most likely the award shows. There's another billboard producer that introduced his friend to this album. The friend heard BTS and immediately dismissed it as some kpop boyband, but after listening to the whole album, he was amazed and praised RM like crazy. He even said that RM is "paving the way for hip hop. Not kpop, but hip hop". and he said if this album was by an american artist, it would win a grammy, and he would vote for it. But because RM is korean, it will most likely not get recognition. Happy to see ALL producers and musicians show love for RPWP. I guess it's a good thing for all the BTS members to go after different audiences and bait them into the BTS discography. Can't wait to see what they come up with when they're done with the military. Everyone will be more mature, and will have levelled up from their solo projects.

I don't know if I'd survive a Kdot/RM collab, but I'd take my chances. Sounds like a good way to die.

Thank you for your genuine reaction. It is so sad he will never get his flowers, because he is in the wrong place. Kpop fans will never support his music because he is not the typical idol, most ARMYs can't appreciate this kind of music either and the west is way too judgemental.
