For you rail fans, 3 mile siding (my personal name) is between LaCoste and FM 1343. UP extended that siding to accommodate longer freights. This freight has car types for everyone. 6 units of motive power distributed front, middle and end of train.

That's a new locomotive & paint scheme. What is the loco? GE unit?
National Railway and Equipment Company in Mount Vernon Illinois. E3000 CC DC units narrow gauge. Look up WP&Y and read about the purchase of these units.

Nice movie Texas Train spotter ;) Impressive to see 9 locomotives working with all their HP. The number of HP onto the rails is merely around 1/3 of all because of loss in the Diesel engines, generator and electric motors. Still impressive! Over here (Europe) Diesel locomotives are merely used to line up the cars. From the Europort area those trains are pulled by one locomotive (max. ca. 45 cars) to Germany. The Siemens Vectron and Bombardier Traxx locomotives run on 1,500 0r 3,000 V DC or on 25,000 Volts AC. The first two voltages are the regular rail network and the high voltage line is dedicated to either freight transport of high speed lines between Amsterdam and Paris, Berlin etc. Those locomotives are abailable up to 14,000 HP (Full electric). Times change....fast!
