Manual Rinseback
Просмотров 4,1 тыс.3 года назад
In case of NxStage Failure (system error, unrecoverable), inspect system for air/clotting and then attempt manual rinse back. This procedure bypasses the machine safety for catching air and relies on the user to monitor. Do Not use this method if there is air in the blood lines.

Damage in the yard from the storm.
I thought dialyzer should be upside down?
There isn’t much difference between a manual rinse back vs a regular rinse back. That weird computer monitor on top of the NxStage machine is not present on my VersiHD. Instead, I have a Nx2Me app on an iPad. I would probably never opt to do a manual rinse back. If the machine malfunctions, I just wouldn’t return my blood.
Hi I have a question I'm new to dialysis. My dialysis nurse connects my blue to red and red to blue on my chest catheter. Does that effect the way it cleans my blood ? Because I noticed I get more headaches when she does that.
The blue is patent than red thats why she connects the red line to your blue access. Thats what I think. But you should ask ur nurse directly why she does that and inform her ur concern. 😁
Thanks I am learning from your videos as new staff dialysis nurse 😢❤

Have you done this live?
Thank you. I'm a new RN to dialysis, exactly 6 week in. This video was extremely helpful
I'm glad. Priming and remembering everything can be a challenge. Best of luck to you in your new position!
