Can I please ask, how is the winding on your watch? After about 5 wind, I get really strong push back. I know I can wind more but it is very difficult to push through with the small crown.
Hi Jenan, it should be a smooth affair from what i can remember. My son don't have any issues either so if the winding feels like there is a lot of resistance or force or backlash then i'm afraid that there could be something wrong with the movement. I would contact Richard from StudioUnderd0g to ask for some support regarding this issue. But thank you for watching, and I hope that the issue will be resolved soon ⌚️📸
I really like this style of watch and have only heard good things about Vario. Also super nice of Ivan to show you and the family around Singapore when you visited. Unfortunately for me, I have found that I prefer watches with at least 40 mm case diameter, which is going against the latest trends towards smaller watches. But I‘ve been eyeing the Vaer A12 dirty dozen in 40 mm lately. Oh and awesome cinematography as always Dick, that shot with the bee landing on the sunflowers was especially clean (doing your fellow Dutchman Van Gogh justice if you ask me 😉)
Ivan was very kind to make time for us and we have had a great time. Singapore was amazing with some great highlights and architecture 😎 Catching that shot with the Bee took a little patience 😅 but it worked out well ⌚️📸 I going to check out that Vaer A12 watch 👍 I am quite a fan of these style of watches as well. Great video. In regards to the bracelet, pin and collars are arguably a more secure and robust system than screw pins. I don't know if Seiko use them for that reason or to reduce costs but I think they are a very good idea for a dive watch. Screw pins can come loose, cross thread or the screw head can be rounded out. Pin and collars aren't easily damaged and aren't likely to work loose under heavy use.
Thank you for watching 🍿😊📸⌚️ There is a very good argument for both. And I think that you are correct in regards that a pin and collar system is more secure. While a screw pin system is more easy with sizing the bracelet and when using a little bit of loctite 221 or 222 also very secure.

I've gone on and off the green of the Søværn. It seems the tone changes quite a bit depending on who shoots the footage. In yours this tone doesn't quite convince me. It could also be that I'm just that whimsical. The one you're going for stands out as easily the most original. Ultimately though, I'm not sure this is the kind of sporty tool-styled gada I feel compelled to add to my collection, although I'm quite convinced by its quality and execution.

Depending of the light the green hue of color can change dramatically. Same seems to be going for the Fuldmåne when I checked some pictures on Instagram. For both versions I like them more when their color appears in a darker and more richer shade of green or yellow. Personally I feel that the strong points for the Sovaern can be found in the overall package here with details like the on the fly adjustment and just the overal look.

I continue to have a soft spot for this Tennet Somerset. I treat all my dressy watches as everyday wearers, so that figures. I hvae commented before that should I have stumbled upon it at the launch price of 800, it might have pursuaded me. While there is certainly still plenty of justification for the higher price point, this (with added duties and taxes) just makes me too uncomfortable (for yet another watch nobody could claim they need). R6he brilliance of this design surely is how serene it looks inspite of all the intricate detailing and different finishes. For me, at not moment, does this feel overbearing though on pretty much any other watch one would think thag it woold be. I also think it has a great wraparound stature on the wrist thanks to the lugs' downturn. The silver colourway is super versatile, even if the added colour contrast on other versions would seem more dynamic at first. I quite like the subtle tonality of the taupe stock strap, but think it could be amazing with some dark and vibrant colours alike. The 200m water resistance remains, in my view, a curious choice. I'd take few watches out swimming, especially not the more costly ones, and here 100m would have given all the assurance for daily eventualities one could need. I think at this price and with this idiosyncratic, almost quirky, styling this is not going to be a high volume brand and vhances of finding it on the secondary market will be slim. Whether I will ever cave at retail remains to be seen.
