We found it under some mud in the woods.

Yes they do sit much higher if on the factory tracks. I liked it higher but my taller friends could not fit so that's when I got the tacks from Corbeau. They are right down on the floor and made for C4 Corvette so they bolt straight in. Still need the adapter plate in between. With all that it came back down to the factory height.

@@bustedstudgarage , thank you for your reply . Not sure which route I'll take . I'll wait until the seats arrive and then determine. Good tip , on installing the bolts on top of the OEM track and through the adapter plate , into the seat . I may post some videos of my C4 progress I've made thus far .
