rosé wrote and recoded Apt a year before Bruno got involved. When she signed with Atlantic Records she heard Bruno was on the label as well she told them she was a huge fan describing in a recent interview that a friend invited her to a Bruno concert earlier that year and she found out and realized how big of fan of Bruno she was. So she told them and they said to pitch Bruno 3 songs, Rosé's team didn't want to send him Apt but she insisted that it had to be that one she felt Bruno would love it so she secretly included it. By this time Bruno and Rosé are talking and he asks her what Apt means and when she tells him it's a Korean drinking game he loved it and signed up. most people have felt mostly friendship vibes from them cute and funny even awkward moments more than romantic vibes.
