Sure Love Your Stuff! Rock on!

I'm one of those that posted multiple albums and changed a few questions. I couldn't find a garage album from '65 before my video. Now that it's posted I've found at least two haha! Oh well. The Seeds rule and I really want to get started on the Teenage Shutdown series. An old friend of mine had all those on CD and I ripped most of them to my laptop ages ago. Those 45s collected there are damn near impossible to find. I have a few Count Five albums, one that has a bunch of extra tracks and that same album cover, but I actually play the one with fewer tracks more often. It's a reissue of the original album from RSD 2018 or something.

Great tag, Steve! Love that Pretty Things debut… loads of classics on that. I’ve been after that Chesterfield Kings album… cheap as chips in the States, but pretty pricey for a clean copy in the UK. The search goes on! Akarma is such a great label for 60s and 70s gear. Great pick ups too… like the look of magic mixture. Cheers, Jack

Hey thanks for responding! Pretty things awesome!!! I have a repress of the UK version which doesn’t have Rosalyn. The album just doesn’t feel right without Rosalyn. I love chesterfield kings cover of 99th floor. Shadows of knight live looks real cool

Great stuff! I hate the way Karma splits up the natural flow of the album. They do it on a bunch, of them, Magic Ship, Tripsichord etc. I just pulled out my 6 things too! check it out if you have a second.

Hey Steve! Hell yeah! I was hoping you’d jump on this tAg cuz I know ya got some killer garage records! I shot my video last night and it should post today. We had a very similar take on this thing I showed the Pretty Things for question one but I also showed another that you will have to see when the vid posts LoL! I also shared that Chesterfield Kings record too LoL!! But again I added a few others too. Great live pic with Shadows of Knight! I love those guys! That Count 5 is one of my fave albums of all time! Mines the Craft pressing. I almost wish there were more questions as I wanted to show more of my garage stuff! Maybe I’ll just do a separate garage rock vid in the future. I watched this last week but didn’t have time to comment so I am back! I’m watching it again LoL! The intro was epic Love the CSI angle! Very clever! I wonder if those Who songs they used caused folks to revisit the Who records? And you know they got paid! I used to worship The Who back in high school! They were like rock gods! Man I love that Liverpool 5 album! I think I have their other LP too! Man I wish I would’ve jumped on this Tag when it came out Probably too late now. I seen Ty Segal show that Pete Townsend Scoops in an episode of Amoebas What’s in my Bag and he described it as weirdo rock! LoL I’ve been looking all over for it ever since! But no luck 😔 I remember watching the Who rock doc The Kids are Alright and that live appearance on the Smothers Bros show where Keith Moons bass drum was packed with so much explosives it nearly blew Pete’s head off! LoL! I’m a big fan of the Who’s early mod stuff! My fave live show is the Isle of White (sp) I was absolutely glued to the screen throughout! What an amazing show! Meaty Beaty is an awesome hits collection! I showed it in my Vinyl Tag vid! I still don’t have Odds & Sods but I’m on the case! Cousin Kevin is an a$$hole but Wicked Uncle Ernie is a terrifying pedo! LoL! Townsend was a genius! Entwistle was one of the best bassist I’ve ever seen! Moon the Loon LoL! I remember Roger & Pete saying that Keith was a big fan of surf music which kinda surprised me. There’s so many awesome stories surrounding one of the greatest bands of all time The Who! Outstanding video Steve! The WHO are right up there with the Beatles & Stones for me! Peace ✌️👽

Cool Tag! I never even thought to do a CD Tag but I do have a lot of CD’s but not as many as I used to. I’ve actually sold some CD’s before to finance my Vinyl habit LoL! I used to collect a lot of metal and 90’s Alt Rock on CD. I need to go thru my CD totes and possibly post an entry for this! This is indeed a disturbing universe haha.. I always add milk before I pour in my hot water or coffee! I seen that Batman & Robin had a RSD reissue I could be wrong tho I know I seen it was reissued. A Chubby Checker psych album? Twisting My Mind Away! I think I have that same Netherlands Pebbles comp and that same Nuggets comp as well Great comps! I love comps of all genres! In high school my friend did a painting of the cover of King Crimson’s Court of the Crimson King and it was amazing! I didn’t even know it was an album cover at the time and I’d only heard April Wines cover of 21st Century Schitzoid Man. It took me years later to actually discover King Crimson! I love that Cheetah Beat LP! I literally grabbed it as a blind buy a few years ago Super cool record! The early Chicago stuff is solid They had some really good songs Hell my youngest daughter live 25 or 6-24! I’ve seen Sky Saxon’s solo stuff out there but I’ve never pulled the trigger for some reason Is it good ? Remember TUCO the Vinyl Hunter? He turned me onto Lounge music a Space Age stuff Oh and also Spy Jazz! He actually sent me a VCLT care package with various LPs from those genres. I love it when you take to the streets of San Fran! That Stories LP is a fave of mine and I love Brother Louie even tho at the time the song wasn’t their usual fare and you are correct it was added to the album later. I think Dust In The Wind has religious roots. I’ll never smile again is a sad bastard song. Talk Talk Talk is my favorite Psychedelic Furs album. I know the Nazareth dong Love Hurts. I have never heard the Everly Brothers version. 70s Hall and Oates is better than 80s Hall snd Oates. I don’t think Country is corny. At least no more than any other genre. GO DODGERS

Love the new yell in your intro! I have never heard a record on a real gramophone 😮. Rate Earth was to Motown what Slayer was to Def Jam. I'd buy Scruffy The Cat on the name alone. The Scorps are no joke. My buddy saw them with Metallica opening and to this day claims Scorpions are a better live band. Sweet showing. Cheers!

Cool idea homie! Love the Ohio Players! That album is a great collection of their hits! I actually pulled the Asia LP for a listen mostly due to finally getting the Buggles album. It was a big record back in the 80’s! Linn County! From my homestate of Iowa! Love their first record!
