I was a member and a half Moon Bay golf links for 15 years they’ve shorten the old course and when I was a member, there was no ocean course no hotel and the 18th green had a plateau that was literally over the cliff. Maybe you’ve seen old pictures of it.

Stopped by your golf shop many years ago. Got fitted for a PXG driver. This is one course I won’t be playing!!!! $800 golf, hotel, and caddy! Starting price! I’ve heard it’s way overrated by many that have played there. Bummer cause I’ve played every course in St George. I’ll keep driving and play Shadow Creek before I play this track.

Be a lot better without the music in the background. I felt like I was in an elevator. Nice review of the course.

Played it last year. My thought was, where are the fans going to stand when the pga comes here. It’ll be interesting how much access the spectators actually have with the lava beds everywhere.

Judging from my very limited sample of courses I’ve played, it remind me of Wolf Creek in Nevada, but obviously with different geographical qualities. Super cool course! For a hacker like me I’d be hoping to get lucky bounces off those rocks all day long lol

Daddy always said “don’t throw that flag down, hold it by the flag and ease it down to the ground”. I asked why and he said “It’s just respect for the players putting behind you….and the game itself.” 😂

Update Early Fall 2024: unfortunately this course has gone WAY DOWN HILL. No longer even a top 2 course in the St George area, and it is pushing #4 on the list. The condition of the course is just awful. Greens are… OK. But nothing special. Fairways, tee boxes and everything around the greens is honestly pathetic. DO NOT PAY their current prices to play here. It is worth no more than $100 in peak season. Sure, great course and great views, but the condition is embarrassing. If I were to be ranking courses in southern Utah, based on their conditions, this would currently be number 8 or 9 on the list.

Hitting driver first hole is unclassy. If you're playing a nice course, it's iron or 3 wood on first shot. Nicely played

My dad played this back in the late 70s and also Pebble. Pebble at that time was $60 with cart and Spyglass was a bit more, but he said Spyglass was a far better test of golf and fun to play!
