Real opinion from a Dualtron Thunder 2 owner for over a year now: I love mine, but if I could go back, I'd get something else. The Dualtron Thunder 2 is scary as fck to ride, but it is awesome to be able to dust pretty much any car. With the square wave motor controller, it wants to go fast. It'll peel out while already rolling if you pin the throttle, and many times my solution out of a pinch has just been to pin it and hang on for dear life LOL. Even with a steering damper, it's a squirrelly experience. That said, I love it and I've got a seat coming this week. To my original point, going over bumpy roads can really suck with that much speed and the small wheels, and the roads really suck where I live. You should also look at the Dualtron City, it has larger wheels and a swappable battery, and still goes 45+ MPH.

Always make sure to check the roads before going hi speeds, know your area, a small pot hole, rock, road debris could cause an accident, 44 mph is very fast on an e scooter , the small wheels feel unstable unleass the roads are in good condition, be careful 👍
