Since the programming can be done through the OBD2 port on the truck, why go through all the drama of an ECU swap?

"Righty thghty, lefty loosey" is completely dependent on the orientation of the wrench. If the wrench is pointed straight up, this works. If the wrench is pointed straight down, it doesn't work. When teaching the inexperienced, I much prefer "Clockwise to close". It takes orientation out of the equation. The same can be said for backing a trailer. Conventional teaching is, "Turn the wheel in the opposite direction of what you want the trailer to go". I was taught to just grab the steering wheel at the bottom, then turn it in the direction that I want the trailer to go. It's a lot easier to learn that way.

Why would you ruin your warranty without even deleting it. Wouldnt you be paying out of pocket for emission repairs?

Is a remote tune an option? I know you have to copy the 22 ECU to the donor ECU but shipping both to Florida is to much of a risk.

about to do mine, have all the stuff just waiting on nicer weather. so for the bypass cable is says it needs to be plugged into the 5th slot down. what if my truck already has a factory plug there? does it matter what slot it goes into as long as its the black block on the left side?

So emissions on tuning, 74hp/94tq? No chances of a delete correct? What will benefit with this over stock? I’m not looking for power, just don’t want to be stranded on the side of the road when the emissions system breaks down. Currently no issues but you never know. Any MPG gain if you stay out of the throttle? Heard there will be some EGR issues with a CAI, might have to tune for that I guess even though no one can figure out why a CAI would mess with the EGR and throw a check engine.
