@@backwoods8158 Thanks! I'm using Perl Classic, VuhDo party frames and Dominos bars in this video. Along with some WeakAuras for tracking the chronomancer buffs. I just recently changed to ElvUI, which replaced most of those while still looking basically the same. Took me a while to set it up, but it is also much easier to share.

@@kiriazos97 Chrono used to have a hard time with mana as well, but within a few patches they quadrupled our regen while casting so it is no longer a problem at all. I think WD also got buffed from 20% mana while casting to around 70%, but they eat through mana even faster. If you are struggling with mana there are some items that are very efficient at boosting your MP5, while still providing solid stats, which I recommend you getting a look at. Main ones being: Mark of the Dragon Lord rings, Mindtap Talisman trinkets, Helm of the New Moon, Hurley's Tankard mace (off hand for dual wield classes). Hope that helps!

I have only been pushing as Chronomancer so I can't be 100% certain, but all the healers that have strong reliable single target healing should be fine pushing keys up to 30s. My guess as to what would be the top 5 is roughly: Chronomancer, Cultist, Venomancer, Sun Cleric, Witch Doctor, in that order. Primalist can do big healing, but being melee locked is a big disadvantage for a lot of cases. The higher you push, the harder it becomes for melee.

@@MerigoldAscension what about tinker and starcaller? I remember they was also strong asf but actually idk to be fair iam not up to date because i stopped playing on ascension few weeks/months ago, lost the motivation and fun to play, im not a big fan of swapping everyday my spec or class cause of bugs and changes anymore, maybe ill come back when coa or wotlk is finished :/ but great work as always gg

@@hashkandiqt420 Starcaller seems solid enough, but I think it will run out of resources when it comes to the proper tank spamming requirements of pushing high keys. I think it's great for M+ generally though. Solid AoE spam and very strong spot healing. I haven't seen Tinker being pushed and haven't played it much myself so I'm not sure. It looked very average in terms of M+ healing profile and the externals are quite weak. The movement + life grip combo is pretty sick for skips though, specially if you have someone with a summon in the party.

@@momoiv4913 Intellect. We only use caster DPS for the high keys because being forced into melee is too dangerous for a lot of dungeons and affix combinations.

@@GueritMusic Not at the moment. Probably not a full on M+ hub, but I may do a bit more in-depth informational content once TBC M+ rolls around on Elune. There were some M+ communities in the previous seasons, but they all kind of died out. M+ doesn't get a lot of attention by the devs sadly so player interest kind of wanes away after a while =/

I think only Twilight Shock. Our builds were not quite perfect when this run was recorded though, so it might have been just a "good enough for now" talent. I recommend looking at Zarugan's build in one of the more recent videos for more up to date builds

Good question! Inspiration is a great talent overall, however I only push high keys with Parry tank players and they already have a built in 10% physical damage reduction buff (Enveloping Shadows) which does not stack with Inspiration's. The build I'm running is optimized for performing at those high keys specifically :)

Starters: Renew, Greater Heal, Mage Armor, Life Tap (or tether elemental) Abilities: Power Word Shield, Prayer of Mending, Halo, Circle of Life are the main ones. You can get some dispels or other stuff you missed at 60 with the other 3 slots like Circle of Healing. Talents: Holy Radiance, Words of Healing, Words of Time, Borrowed Time and Borrowing Time are the main ones for the build to function. Lots of other important ones like Higher Power, Life Circle, Divine Circle, Renewing Light and Urgent Prayer though.

I'm using Robes of the Exalted, Barrage Girdle, Wildheart 6 set, 2x Emerald Flame Ring, AQT spirit haste staff. Basically big haste on every slot and a decent amount of spirit. The goal for the setup is to get Greater Heals as close to 1 sec cast time as possible with Borrowed Time up.

@@Jaxims For raiding it would, yes. This setup is optimized for the requirements for high M+. Do keep in mind there's nearly 0 benefit to having spells below 1 second cast time due to the GCD limit, so roughly 1 second cast Greater Heal is usually the goal no matter the setup or content (pve). The main difference is the ratio of Renew casts to Greater Heal casts. In raids you can very easily cast 1 to 3 renews for every Greater Heal press due to the much larger target availability. Also there is a much larger ratio of group to tank damage taken in raids, which favors broader Renew coverage for optimal throughput. In M+, specially in very high keys, the situation is reversed. Tank Healing is by far the most pressing issue, there are only 5 targets total to Renew and a lot of the time DPS and healer, at least in a coordinated group, are under zero risk of death so renewing them doesn't accomplish anything. Effectively you have 1 Renew target that requires any healing: the tank. Also the no Serendipity setup allows me to spam several Greater Heals back to back at max throughput with only 1 GCD every now and then for Borrowed Time. With Serendipity you could compromise and do a Flash Heal x1~2 > Greater heal and lose throughput for mana sustain or spam 0 Serendipity GH for optimal throughput, but suffer in mana sustain and throughput compared to the haste setup.

@@Jaxims You would get a 1 sec GH for a single cast though and then you would be forced into using 2 weak GCDs for Serenipity or a slow Greater Heal. Serendipity is consumed on every cast. As you can see in the video I am often required to cast many GHs back to back to keep up with the Healing requirement

@@Jaxims it is not just overhealing, every cast applies another instance of Divine Aegis and Sheath of Light. The way ascension is balanced makes it so spamming is the optimal rotation for HPS and guaranteeing tank and group safety. On the contrary, setting up renews on the group while they are in no danger is just unproductive overhealing. The group does not need Healing 100% of the time, the tank does. I do concede that in raids the priorities shift so that you are indeed able to reliably get a few stacks of Serendipity in between each cast at an optimal rotation. Serendipity is a powerful talent. It has certain niches in which it is most effective though and that doesn't line up well with Ascension high keys. This build is specifically optimized for the very top of M+ keys, I would take Serendipity and swap my stat priorities if it was optimized for Raids. I am indeed sacrificing a bit of Healing Power for the sake of haste. Enough healing power to boost my GH by maybe 5% ~ 10% per cast, yes. But that allows me to press GH, by far the strongest spell in the kit, up to 7 times in a row at 1 sec cast speed. 7 casts in 7 seconds, whereas if I relied on Serendipity exclusively I would get maybe 4 or 5 casts if back to back. Or maybe 3 or so if I spent GCDs in between on stacking Serendipity. I urge you to try some super high keys over on Ascension. By the nature of how it is structured it is optimal to play proactively rather than reactively 80~90% of the time. There are still predictive decisions to be made based on incoming damage such as setting up renews, stacking buffs and planning around cooldowns. Those are quite clear when you look at how we deal with the Mythic Champions. In between those moments of decisions making it is optimal to spam GHs incessantly to upkeep the buffs I mentioned and have everyone topped up so the groups lives as I go though the other ability presses.

@@Jaxims The tank is being shielded by Divine aegis with every single cast. Every single cast of GH increases the Tank's effective health by around 20%. Sheath of Light, Holy Concentration, Divine Circle, Halo CDR, BotD procs are also all being maximized and stocked up because of fast constant GHs. My cast time on GH is actually very close to 1 second outside of Fire Champion fights, no divines proc necessary. I do need to swap to a full fire resistance set up which means I do lose out on A LOT of stats, but that is just a requirement for the fight. Nothing I can do about that. Overhealing the group given that they have 0% chance of taking damage is completely unproductive. Overhealing the tank, which is constantly taking damage and can easily die in the span of 2 or 3 seconds from full health, is optimal. Ascension is not retail, the metrics are completely different. Again, I urge you to join a 70 key and try to only ever heal the tank reactively when they are at a health deficit. Yes there are many scenarios in which I don't need full throughput because there just isn't enough damage incoming. That would be the case no matter which setup I go with. I could just sit there and Wand the enemies, which I sometimes do when there really is 0 danger, or I can mitigate for the 5% chance that the tank instantly flops over and dies because of an unlucky line up of melees and fierce blows. On my breakdowns Divine Aegis is my top contributor to total effective HPS even at this level. Divine aegis on tank alone does more overall healing than all the group healing combined. This setup has 100% crit chance. I think you are vastly underestimating how much Divine Aegis is contributing to Pesty's tankiness.

I am using VuhDo and some WeakAuras. I think you can get hots and stuff to show up on Grid with an extra plugin

It is alright for raids too, but not quite as powerful as the proper fully optimized raid healing AoE spammers like PoP Steward of Eternity and PoP Cauterizing Flames. I do play it very frequently in raids unless it is an encounter that requires those really ridiculous AoE heals. I'm running Wildheart dungeon set + barrage girdle + robes of the exalted.

Pesty values avoidance very highly for M+. He's using Relentless Scythe +40 and the parry tank set for Tier 2.5 because of the spell shield set bonus, which is surprisingly strong.

The population is pretty solid! They don't say exact numbers, but it is good enough that you can get world chat groups for most activities.

Check with Pesty in game on Elune! The optimal strategy for rolling perfect builds is saving cards slots for last though. As in sending tons of rerolls first and then slotting in the cards to fill in whatever important talents and abilities you missed.

Vampire Lord used to be very strong when tacked on to the Pure Shadow DPS builds, but the healing got nerfed quite severely with the Chapter 2 patch unless played in Primary Stat Spirit which reduces DPS by a ton. For M+ specially just go for pure damage and let the healer focus on keeping the group alive

@@MerigoldAscension yeah i had cauterizing fire and it required spirit stat and kinda leveled like that and it was good for healing and damage but once I got shadowform i realized it took my out of SF while damaging with it. that's when i changed my primary stat to int. but even then there would be no way to put enough damage out to just be a primary healer. once I prestige ill find another way to play

Some good alternatives from M+ if you don't have the raid items: Trindlehaven Staff, Cloak of the Cosmos, Piccolo of the Flaming Fire, Wand of Arcane Potency. Basically haste and Spirit on every piece to try and get Greater Heal as close to 1 sec cast time as possible.
